GENERAL NOTES (PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY)

- The piece will be 100 % digital. I work with a tablet, so I’ll not mail you the original piece because it doesn't exist. I will send an high-res image file to your email.

- No existing people. I will not draw real people's faces, including you. You can ask for "Captain Jack Sparrow", the character, but not for "Johnny Depp".

- You can request a commission to ganassa.commission@gmail.com. Please write what kind of commission you want (pinup commission or comics), which options do you choose (additional features, background, etc) and your idea. Be as clear and detailed as possible.

- A commission request will be ignored if you request: underage characters, scat or guro. Violence is OK.

- Payment method: full up front or 50 % - 50 %. First 50 % ahead and then 50 % at the delivery of the piece.

- After your payment I will send you a sketch. That is the only moment i will correct the commission, except for coloring errors or missing details.

- The rates are just a general guideline. Each commission is different so we will discuss the final price together.

TERMS:

How long will my commission take?

Commissions might take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the type of commission and complexity of the piece(s).

Please note that I only accept upfront payment or if you're not comfortable with that, half of the overall sum upfront, and the rest when it's finished is fine too. 

I will ask you to pay for your commission (half OR full) after I complete the sketch and made sure you are happy with it.

Refunds:

I can only offer refunds if I haven't started your commission or if I'm still in the sketch phase. Anything past the sketch phase CANNOT be accepted for refunds, so please keep that in mind.

I keep this rule in place to deter any timewasters and scammers from ordering commissions.

How can I use my commission after it is finished?

After a commission is complete, you are free to use it however you like, both commercial and personal use. 

All I ask is that you leave credit somewhere with my name and I always appreciate when someone spreads the word about my work.

Hello, I'm Midnightbatizer, a digital artist trying to do artistic shenanigans on the internet. I have been using the past two years that I have been on both Newgrounds and Deviant Art to improve my digital art skills as well as my overall understanding of art itself if it'd be simple illustrations, cartoons, animations, and etc. Given my progression I believe I am able to assist in some artistic projects as well as artistic shenanigans if needed, my gallery both on Newgrounds and Deviant Art should tell you where I am at with that respectively. I am also allowing for requests from any user that would like something made as long as its reasonable and follows my personal policy when it comes down to requests as noted.

Midnightbatizer's Requests and Commissions Policy

This bulletin is for my watchers and individuals who consult me in relation to any given art requests, art-trades, commissions, or anything that is asked of myself.

I do take all of the above as you will see if you have looked through my gallery labeled "Requests and Commissions", which relates to commission and requests. However, I am outlining a series of rules and ethics when it comes down to sending in a request, commission, or anything else that was listed above.

1. No request may contain sensitive or heavily disturbing, Not Safe For Work, content. The reason I word it this way is because I personally am a fan of horror concepts and have the intentions of doing future projects with more mature themes. However, I must draw some boundary lines which means no erotic, fetish, or general content that would be considered, perchance, something degenerative or absolutely horrid to create, I wanted to clearly state that for some general clarification on what I can and cannot do when it comes down to creating related art.

I am willing to do art work related to gore with the given context of horror involved. For instance take the Alien, The Thing, Purge, or Saw Films and Franchises as examples of my limitations and boundaries when it comes to that. I felt this was an especially important boundary to note due to my artistic abilities as well as interest in horror.

2. When it comes down to references from the internet and digital media, I do my best to provide credit to said characters where its due and have gallery's established to separate my characters and those related to other series' on the internet. Ensure you specify if it is your character or that of another creator, I do not want to start beef with another creator for drawing something without permission, after all it is related to the Creative Commons license in place usually.

3. Depending on the art piece itself, I may just flat out take my time with requests in order to not strain or overwhelm myself, this is a mental precaution I take. However, I prioritize all requests as follows:

Commissions --> Art-Trades --> Quick Drafts or Sketches ---> General Requests

This is to ensure to some extent I am able to properly balance given tasks provided to me from you folks who care to ask for an art piece to be done and this is my main method in order to prioritize, especially when I do procrastinate.

4. I am allowing everyone, regardless of who you are, with exceptions, to submit a request ranging from professional artists to just the average user on Deviant Art. I understand that it can be nerve racking to ask for an artist to do a request. My policy, send a request and I will consider it, understand the worst thing I can say is likely a no or just some clarification on what you mean with a request.

5. This rule is related to patience, I ask for everyone's patience when it comes to me taking the time to create an art piece. The only individuals that are allowed to pressure me to speed up the work process are those who commission me, pay me, for my art work. As for everyone else I ask purely for your respect & patience.

This is the current policy I have lined out when it comes down to commissions and requests in regards to my art work. If there is anything that you need clarified on or wish to ask prior to submitting a request, please send me a private message or profile comment and I will clear that up for you. I wanted to create this so that my watchers and general users know what I am willing to do for requests, art-trades, commissions, and other artistic shenanigans on Deviant Art.

Prices are the same if I draw head, half body or full body. What I mean: just the face costs the same that a full body

• Sketch $8
• Line up or Ink $16
• Flat color $24

• Model Sheets, Expression Sheets, Rotation, Anatomy, Poses etc..we can get to an agreement
• if you want a very high detailed scenario, like a city for example, that would be $8, but if it is colors or textures has no cost. If it is a normal scenario has not cost too.

• If it is a loop of a character doing something intermediate that involves locomotion like running, walking, etc: $44

2. Additional final piece changes: $5 each
3. Paypal fee: 5% of the final cost will be added to the price so it covers the amount PayPal takes away for transfer.

Payment must be payed upfront! If you can’t make the full payment upfront, I am willing to make a plan where you can pay it off with separate transactions. Once payment is made in full, I will then release the full piece to you.
