We don't currently have a way to link Sharkrobot purchases to user accounts, although that would be super handy if we could do that at some point and re-ignite the gear section.

You could just create a catalog of NG art submissions acceptable for NG backgrounds (in quality, resolution, and content) and have them randomly assigned whenever there isn't a holiday event going on.

I thought that was a photo too until now, though maybe the part you see as the NG background really is all the photo part of the piece hmmm... really cool mash-up/mesh/mixture/mastery anyway. Hard to tell where the border between photo and digital goes.
