Depends on how you define "original," I suppose. I don't see anything "lesser" or "less original" about members who used to be on the RVCL versus those who were members before the RCVL even existed except, of course, that seniority/longevity wise, the latter category is an older bunch.

I ALREADY HAVE GTA IV. I ain't buying it a 2nd time for a game system I DON'T OWN. Whereas both you and Bahamut have PCs already. So YOU buy GTA IV and come play with ME. At least you would only have to buy the game a 2nd time, but no further purchases on consoles. How about that? #;-}>
Once I get Steam and its on sale I may buy it I am just worried that my 4 year old computer won't be able to handle it which is why I don't PC game.

The latest there will be a sale for GTA IV on PC on Steam will be around Christmas, so you'd better get an account before then, at least.
But yeah, your PC might not be hip enough to keep up with it. Oh well. Your next PC, whenever you get it, will be. And thanks to Steam, you can install the games you own on as many PCs as you want to login and DL them on. Once the money is spent, all ya need is time and hard drive space.
I've never watched a blu-ray. How do I know it's overrated then, you ask? BECAUSE I HAVE A HDTV + regular ol' DVD player, and my movies and TV shows look PERFECTLY FINE already.
So you don't know what a blu-ray disc looks like on a Sony Bravia 1080p best refresh ratio and Hz and etc looks like. Just because you think your ol' DVD player looks good doesn't mean it is good. Blu-ray is a lot better even the unconverted DVD's are better
No, and I don't need to know what they look like, because regular DVDs look FINE.
A $10,000 music system sounds better than my $300 music system. Do I need one? Hell no. I'm not that picky, man. HDTV with regular DVD is more than good enough for me. I'm easily pleased when it comes to TV/audio/etc.
Now, on a computer, I want my FPSes and the like to play well and have a nice high FPS, so I'm a bit more picky re: computers, but then again... I did live with the same old desktop for 11 years and ended up just stopping buying new games.
But in short....

If I'm satisfied with the sound and video of my regular ol' DVDs (which I waited until many years after they were introduced to buy, BTW, so that I didn't have to spend a small fortune)... then I know by definition that the "next gen" movie storage system is OVERRATED.
Oh because the next-gen was expensive you thought instantly it is overrated talk about being blind and ignorant, Blu-ray players are around 150 now for the old models so you should get one and see for your self. You won't admit you see the difference because of your stubbornness to get a blu-ray player. It many be overrated because it has so many praises from the crowds but now after time has passed it settled down. <3
If it's so good, it'll still be around and still be the main way people buy movies in 3-4 years, right?

Yeah the PS1 and PS2(which owned every other console) is great but the PS3 kicks as much ass as its predessors. The price tag is the only thing that scares people away, if PS3 sold as much as a Wii it would be #1. The PSX (the newerish PS1 is definatly over) But the Playstation era is not over.
It kicks ass technically.
But not culturally, which was my point about the Playstation era being over.
Unless Sony gets back to #1 with PS4, it is indeed over, man. Don't kid yourself.

Uh not in my lifetime I am going to keep my PS2, PS3 and the other PS consoles. I will not join you I am still a console fanboy, and if I play on the PC it will be just to see what TF2 is like and play GTA IV with you.
Well, you said your computer might not be able to handle GTA IV, but it probably can handle TF2 (might have to turn down some of the graphical settings), so that'll kick ass.

Probably because they figured that since the player PLAYS the ROLE of Link, then it must be a ROLE-PLAYING game, but by that logic, nearly every game is a role-playing game, no matter whether it's a fighting game, racing game, shooter, space combat sim, puzzle games even, hell.... RPG doesn't just mean what it says in its name, though, so... yeah. Those people are silly and oversimplistic in their reading comprehension. Context, bitches. Context.
Yeah I remember your prejudice favoring Vice City over the other two GTA games I played them equally base on how long it took to get near 100% and the time the next game came out. I haven't been playing CW though. Its about time I play it and beat it.
Vice City is still the only one I've finished.
