Last night was the deadline for our Wick Editor Game Jam. Thank you everyone who took Wick for a spin during this jam, your ongoing feedback helped move it a lot further along! Wick is a free, open-source, web-based tool for making games and animation. It works a lot like classic Flash, which makes it really exciting. The theme for this jam was “classic Newgrounds games”, check out the entries.
Tonight at midnight is the deadline for our My Friend Pedro art contest. You still have some time to making something, or share something you’ve already made! MFP creator @DeadToast will be selecting ten favorites to receive Steam keys.
Your votes are in and the Best of June have been determined!

There’s so much great stuff to discover on NG!
This past week I watched Industrial Accident: The Story of Wax Trax Records, a documentary about the record label that sort of defined my teenage years. I felt a lot of parallels between their story and Newgrounds, similar to how I felt about 24 Hour Party People, which loosely covers the rise and fall of Factory Records. NG’s story is still being written, though, with all of your help! Maybe it will turn out different?
