Here's a SEEDING SUGGESTION
I'm not sure how you guys plan on doing it now... you might even have the same idea I'm about to give so sorry if this seems well... obvious. But start off by figuring out which 64 competitors have made it into the group stage. Then after that rank each song from number 1-64. This will be the seeding for the competition and it does't have to change at all. Each person can keep their seed throughout.
In the group round the top 16 will be to top seeds of their round. (like in a sport I guess here... it'd go like this)

As you can see the seeds in the top 25% face someone from the top 50%, 75% and top um.... top 100%. Though I'm sure all the people in the competition will bring a high quality track to the table this will help ensure that the two best artists aren't locked in a stage together (thusly only one moves forward.) after this stage I have debated between a couple different scenarios for the bracket round. The first will have the top groups fighting the bottom groups in the round of 16.

The second way is to rearrange the winners from the group rounds into new seeds by ordering them by their original seeds. For example if seed 17 wins the first group and seeds 2-16 win their groups then then seed 17 would be seed 16 in the round of 16 and 2-16 would be bumped up 1 since they are higher than 17. From then the seeding would be the same.

Hey I'm okay with having a shitload of DnB and house or whataver but I really get bothered by the lack of bands around this site, I mean I think ever since there's the frontpage audio tab thingy,I 've saw like tow or three blues or funk songs by bands, so here's my band and a song about power,revolution, and love, tell me what you think about it:
WARNING - even though I am using the same song, I pulled a sound remaster on the track, so if you already have listened to it I would suggest cleaning out cookies.

Not confusing at all! That's actually a great idea, but the issue is that the final auditions list we produce as judges won't be an ordered top 64. It'll be in no particular order, making it harder to implement your idea. Also, we take into consideration other stuff rather than the quality of the auditions when seeding. We also consider whether they're likely to produce a new track in the timeframe, if they've taken part in previous NGADMs, what genre they are, etc.
My count is currently at 185 auditions! Less than 6 hours left!

Can I change my submission? Know I'm 10 min late, but when you said that there was less than 20 hours left I thought that meant that the deadline was 7am for me ( live in Norway so have different time zone. Thus I thought that I still had an hour, but now I see it ended 6am and not 7am.
I know that I probably should have checked the time zone in the original post and I don't know if this counts as a ridiculously good reason, but can I change my submission from End of the Day to this?
Promise I won't be late again :/.
