I enjoyed the vocal harmonies at the end -- truly angelic. However, the percussion was a little basic and there was a wee bit too much bass with the kick.

I am not sure why you chose the title that you did, but regardless you have created quite an excellent track. It sounds and even feels heroic to some degree and builds up anticipation.

Bardash responds:

Thank you for your review!

Basically I chose the title due to the inspiration I received for this track. Ultimately the anticipation and heroic feel you mention follows the theological beliefs that I hold.

I have been listening to this track quite a few times as I drive to work each day, and I am thinking of revisiting the percussion in the final climatic part of the composition.

Thank you again for listening!

Damn that's epic. It started off strong, and there was never a dull moment in the song. I really liked the percussion, strings, and choral aspects of the song. the percussion gave the song a really cool rolling feel. Definitely could picture this as a song at the beginning of a battle scene in a movie, showing both sides setting up, with the soldiers all glimpsing at their memorabilia of their families one last time before charging into battle. You can probably tell I got a very specific feeling from this song. I really love it though, awesome piece. I'm excited to hear what else you come up with!

Bardash responds:

Thank you for listening and for your review!

I am glad you enjoyed the composition.

That's some great job you've done here! I like the drum rythm, the vocals, etc. The beats really kicks in and the instruments were well used and synchronized. Keep it going!

Bardash responds:

Thank you for listening! I do appreciate it.

Yes! Liking this one, Bardash! A thumping, action-packed sound: I can almost hear the swift galloping of hooves. Very cinematic indeed, I can hear this being played in a mediaeval or fantastical epic of some sort.

The choral effects and string instruments accompanying the percussion helped to capture my interest, it would have proved repetitive otherwise.

The way the choir swept into the composition around 1:20 was frisson-inducing stuff (goosebumps, I just found out what the fancy term for chills whilst listening to music is, I keep it using it, haha!) and it really had a feeling of ascension, triumph and hope.

Perhaps someone else will be able to outline some improvements, but I think I enjoyed it too much to do that myself. Keep it up, friend, it's a pleasure to hear something new from you and I'm sure that drumbeat should appeal to a certain musical friend of ours, too. :D

5 / 5

Bardash responds:

Thank you, kindly.

I am humbled that this track gave you goosebumps. I will admit that I almost released this as a loop. I decided to sit on it though, because deep down my heart told me that it needed more and then the choir happened.
