Theme of the final boss of a game I'm developing, "Stellar Typhoon".

Gives me flash backs to playing the old R TYPE arcade cabinets back in the day! Love it.
All I can say is, it may need some more body/drama. I feel like some orchestral swelling here and there would be awesome!
Sephiroth Theme- Advent Children- The One Winged Angel is an AMAZING example of the combination of metal and orchestral for a boss, but I wouldn't say it needs to be AS orchestral.
Cheers!

Many people have said that it needs to be fuller, so I'll probably do something about that, later.

The track is pretty good. The guitar is tight and works really well. It sounds a bit thin though, so I'd try and make it sound fuller. The drums are also very good -- it's just they do not feel a part of the track. I'd recommend EQ and further mastering to prevent that from happening.

Other than that, you have a solid track. Nicely done! Keep up the good work. :)

Can you explain to me the issue with the drums a bit better in a PM? Thanks.

Very nice game themes here. Guitar playing is very solid and the lead melody works extremely well for what you're trying to accomplish. I think adding more layers should've came in a bit earlier instead of at the very very end. I'd personally like to hear more variation in the middle, or maybe some sort of development or "B Section." Other than that, this should serve it's original function as game music very well. Great job!

I didn't want to stray too much away from the main theme, but you might be right.
