Oh no! BP has set up shop in Mario Land, and now another oil leak has started to kill all the fish in the sea! It's a good thing Mario is a plumber, because if there's one thing he knows how to do, it's fix leaky pipes!

Grab the fish as they die upon contacting the oil and use their bloated fishy corpses to plug the leaks in the pipe before the oil overcomes you. But watch out! BP really doesn't like outsiders interfering with their ecological disasters, so they'll be dropping mines and scuba jerks into the water to make your life more difficult. Fortunately, you can use the dead fish as a weapon against them too.

It's high time somebody puts an end to BP and their reckless actions... go get 'em, Mario! See if you can last long enough to witness the glorious destruction of BP!

Overview

You are Mario, swimming in the sea, and you must plug the leaks on the bottom with drenched fish to complete the level. You must do this before the water gets fully covered in oil. A fish gets drenched as soon as it hits the oil. When you touch a fish that's not drenched, you die. You'll automatically grab a drenched fish as you get near it. Then, simply go to a leak and Mario will plug the fish in there. As you proceed, more leaks will be added and you'll need more fish to fully plug them, BP will try to stop you with mines, divers and submarines. Luckily you can shoot the fish at them to kill them. You can also shoot other fish with your fish, but that doesn't make any sense. The game is divided in 3 worlds, each containing 4 levels. The game is over after 3-4. You can, however, continue after that.

Allow a fish to die and plug its own hole.
You can't really help it. This will happen when a fish is swimming near the bottom and touches the oil coming out of a leak. Glug Glug (10 points)
Destroy at least eight blowfish in a single game with other dead blowfish.
Not hard. Sucker (10 points)
Make a diver accidentally swim into a mine.
The divers slightly follow you, so you can lure them to a mine. Blow Me (25 points)
Kill at least eight BP divers in a single game with dead blowfish.
Also not too hard. Mine Your Business (25 points)
Destroy at least eight mines in a single game with dead blowfish.
Again, not too hard. Ocean Defender (25 points)
Last long enough to destroy BP and Tony Hayward on his yacht.
Finish level 3-4. Torpedo Terror (25 points)
Get a single Bullet Bill torpedo to kill two BP divers.
This really depends on luck. Aquaman (50 points)
Survive long enough to destroy BP and Tony Hayward without dying.
This might take a while, since this is not easy to do. Employee Mercy (50 points)
Kill no divers or submarines, but still destroy the BP oil rig in a single game.
The divers ARE allowed to be killed by Bullet Bills and mines, but still this is hard to get. Hunt for Red October (50 points)
Kill at least fie submarines in a single game.

You'll get this when a very famous whale crosses the screen. I got this on my first playthrough, so it shouldn't take long.
