Overview

Feed the King is divided into three gameplay modes which revolve around two central mechanics: stacking cakes and eating cakes. The modes are:

• Classic
  • Stack an unlimited amount of cakes while avoiding bombs and dropping cakes on the floor; the player has three lives
• Time mode
  • Stack as many cakes as high as possible in a limited amount of time
• Cake mode
  • Stack a limited amount of cakes in unlimited time

    Gameplay

    The player starts by stacking cakes:

    Stacking

    A cake will move left and right on the top of the screen. Pressing the down arrow will drop it. Extra points (also in the form of a multiplier) can be gained by making an accurate drop, dropping near a bomb, or dropping a cake on the edge of another cake. When the player runs out of time or cakes (lives in Classic mode), the second phase of the game begins.

    Eating

    The king is launched into the air; the object is now to eat all the cakes in the stack. Eating cakes without missing one results in a larger multiplier and bonus. Afterward, the score is awarded for the round:

    Scoring and Store

    Each 1000 points (rounded up) of the score results in one coin that can be used in the store to buy power-ups. Mochicoins can also be purchased (with real money) to buy power-ups.

    Adrenaline Rush (5 points)
• Perform a danger bonus by landing a cake next to or near a bomb

Expired Explosion (5 points)

• Blow up a bomb with a rotten cake

Precise (5 points)

• Perform an accuracy bonus by landing a small cake on top of another small cake as centrally as possible

Back to Work (10 points)

• Wake up the guard!
  • Explode a bomb with the guard on the screen.

• Buy the Cake Rescue Power Up

Dues Ex Mochina (10 points)

• Login to Mochi

Lifesaver (10 points)

• Buy the Life Rescue Power Up

Slowsaver (10 points)
