A polished version of my ludum dare 25 game (theme: You are the villain) - the original can be found here: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-25/?action=preview&uid=8854. There are a bunch of key differences when compared to the original in terms of design/art/polish.
This was mostly an experimentation in mood and game feel and building and polishing up a small prototype.
EDIT:
tinytiny tweak with kids running into you.

Changed medal details so they make more sense.
Tweak again to the AI (kids always try and follow their parents to sometimes will try and follow their parents... this is why kids will run into you.)

Good game, and I understand that people pretty much have to be able to harbor a slime after they have lost one, but how can someone, while running away and screaming, suddenly become unaware of my presence? Especially because after they become unaware, they keep running and screaming. Or they become unaware when they're standing right next to me. I think the slime should only "infect" people if the person is off screen. Also, how are you supposed to get the "Survivors" medal, if you can't proceed until the weight of the unaware is lifted from the area?
Hmm, wow I made this 6 years ago so hard to remember. Let's say fear causes people to make very bad decisions, and making AI was not something I had done a lot at that point in time.
Part of the design was to make the slime very hard to get rid of and a bit hard to see, and also get people to notice that it was there. So if it happened off screen that make it less noticeable.
There's no weight if there's no one unaware (aka dead, it's not an ideal situation).
Thanks for playing!
Whew, trying to get good ending here is hard.....
And this came before undertale.
Back in 2013 I just got pissed off and massacred everyone.....
Hell, I wish I new what I was doing back then, kinda feeling sorreh for those npc's..........
Challenging game for sure good work
This game is very awesome.
To achieve ”Clean” was the hardest mission.
And I felt kind of uneasy when ”WHY” appeared on my screen...
Good job!
