No, it just means your sleep pattern has been interrupted in such a way that it makes you dazed and confused. It looks like your body needs a strict sleep pattern that you should follow each day. Some people sleep 8 hours before having had enough rest, rare people need 4 hours or less. I guess it's the same thing with your sleep pattern: while it may change somewhat for most of us, it looks like yours is very strict. Breaking through it with intentions like these confuse the entire sleep/REM-dream/rest-repair cycle therefore making it very confusing for you when you wake up.
In case it happens too much, consult a doctor. Some hospitals specialise in sleep examinations and can see if something is wrong with your sleep pattern.
