Hello, Maddam. i was just wondering what you and all these other amazing folks here were doing in such a fine club in our presence. with all due respect, i am sorry about my dispicible behavior. as i have heard, the club sounds like it is for those who are proud of being virgins as of such gentlemen as yourselfs.
and i...
talking smart hurts. im done
Hello good sir. Why thank you for kindly rephrasing your question, but you see, why I made that post was because i've already gotten into this discussion/argument about the reasonings for this club. I'd rather not have the same conversation repeated too many times in here. Also, the members are not all gentlemen. There are ladies somewhere in here, too.
Naked Beercan.
But, since you were so nice, i'll copy and paste the important tidbits for you. This is also good to serve as a reminder for anyone else interested.
First post:
Here's a club for all of you virgins out there who have decided, for whatever reasons they may be, to hold out on doing the deed. Be proud of your decision! Forget peer pressure, foolish standards in our society, and that silly emphasis on loose sex. All that's required is that you be comfortable with who you are!
When asked by a Tauntaun for more details:
You could say it's a bit of both. I believe in the opinions that I have shared here so far, but it is also as a means for people to join and feel comfortable with their decision, instead of feeling left-out in this often times foolish society. Also, after noticing the increased population of the younger spectrum of users, i'm glad to know that by reading through and joining this club, they'll have the opportunity to see an alternative route to take in their lives without feeling "uncool". Giving people a moment to pause and think about their actions, considering what really has substantial meaning in their lives, is one of the main goals.
I'd like to bring up a point, this club is here to support the pro-virgin life style, and although analyzing the faults of lust and promiscuity is perfectly fine, it's intention is not to bash anyone. Just a separate opinion, and a different lifestyle.
Expounding for someone else:
Topics are not limited to just virginity. It is what any other club is meant to be, a gathering for a group of people who all have something in common. That something being supporters of the pro-virgin lifestyle. It is explicitly stated that members who join share their viewpoint and reasoning for this choice, so it's intention is not a pointless club where people come in to bitch about not getting laid and how much they masturbate. There are many depths and sides to this subject, as well as people who appreciate such a concept, which if you had read through the pages, you would understand.
A support group, a help topic, and a discuss thread. Those sum it up best.
Omg there's more:
Beyond virginity, and the various reasons for people taking participation in the lifestyle, this club also opens up discussion for the analyzation of the human behavioral pattern and lifestyle. It deals with issues of:
- Our society's views on sexuality
- Peer pressure
* Schools, friends, popularity and how to handle these issues.
- Cultural differences
* Impact of home life, race, moralistic views, etc.
- Religious variations
* Belief systems, maritial issues, etc.
- Governmental views
* State-to-state, laws and regulations, etc.
- Media influence;
* Music, movies, fashion, etc.
- Psychological impact
* Choices, reasons, and consequences.
And more, this relates to you actually:
Alrighty, now i'm going to make another point. You find virginity to be pointless, and that a club created for pro-virgins is a waste of time, right? Well, you see, like I had mentioned before, it's all a matter of a difference of opinion. Of course I knew there was going to be opposition toward this subject when I created the club. But that display of opposition only reinforces why this club is here. It's not just here on the internet that people are quick to judge, and consider frivolous these decisions, but it's also a contributing factor in the outside world as well.

Beyond all of this, it's also a place to have fun be light-hearted as well, since there's no way i'd create an entirely serious club. What a drag that would be.
So, after reading through all of that, if you still have any questions.. PM me. Otherwise, post to contribute.
