Ooh, very interesting.
I'm late seeing this one, I only found out about it by finding part 2 in the flash portal, I watched this one first, and let me tell you, I think its very interesting, I love the style, its very eerie and spooky, it reminds me alot about Silent Hill, this whole episode gave me a feeling like the Silent Hill games did, which is good, if your movies can give me the same eerie feeling that a professional game can, then your doing a really good job!
I'm excited to see what room he inquired too, I have a feeling on this one, well I gotta watch part 2, which I'm going to do after this review.
Graphics, I give a 9, because in my opinion everything looked smooth to me, almost flawless, the numerous trees and thick fog gave a solid effect as he drove down the road, great spooky feeling to boot, I especially loved when he arrived at the house, how the tree branches silouhetted over him and the car, nice touch.
Style, I give a 10, because I found this movie very unique with a personal touch, stylish as in creepy and unsettling, combined with doing everyday things such as driving to a house, using a pay-phone, trying to rent a place out or find a room mate.
Sound, I give a 10, throughout the whole movie, was the constant sound of the unsettling, you don't know whats around the corner music score, plus some nice sound effects that fit with the scenes they were in.
Humor I give a 4, because I laughed at the part where he was asking if the person on the phone needed a room mate, and then he said, no I mean me, can I be your room mate, then the guy said no, so the main character is like oh ok. I'm not saying that the humor was poor by dishing out a 4, its just the quality I have explained above overtook the majority of the movie, and this isn't a exactly a comedy flick, I just got a nice little laugh there.
You also did a good job making me very interested in the main character, an interesting character he is, despite his few words, giving me the feeling to know more about him, his past, how he is, etc, you should always be interested in the main character.
Well I could think of more to say, to add to this review on your great movie, but I'm just waiting to see The Orphan: Part 2, I will go watch it now, so this review ends here.

I like this style
Nice 3d effects on all the things in this, and I also like the use of actual things from pics like the newspaper stands and the rental listings he was looking at. It's already been said a thousand times but yea, I think the voice was little off, and he doesn't seem like a character who would talk much, but meh, I don't really know much about this story yet, just wanted to see the first one before I checked out pt. 2 on the frontpage. What was up with him driving away from that house so fast? kinda confused me, like he saw something that scared him. anyway, nice lonely tone with all the ambient sounds and backgrounds, and the parts where it got so dark you couldn't see anything at all, which I thought would be annoying, actually grew on me and it gives it another nice element. Awesome job, checkin out pt. 2 now.

yes I'm interested in seeing more, when the voice was...creepy but that would explain why the people didn't want him as a roomie, so it estabishe's plot...
More of a Prelude would be good :)
So I felt that this flash was good vary good lots of potential but only if there were somethings add like more of a story but that coudl be that your saving that for later. Just a couple of things first who was the guy in the window of this house that is in the middle of bc somewhere :S just that well I guess it has interested me cuz I'm asking more q's then getting answers so I'll just say I liked it I hope it turns into something more and becomes big
