Street Fighter LoA

At last, I present to you the final, full version of my game, "Street Fighter Legend of Ansatsuken".
Basically, it's a rpg game based on the story of Street Fighter alpha, which revolves around Ryu and Ken's youth.
That's right, in this game you'll play as both Ryu and Ken, the most popular heroes of Capcom's well known Street Figter saga.
The gameplay came out as a mix between Legend of Legaia and the SF fighting games.

For those who don't know, the first time I submitted this game in three parts, because its size was too big to fit in one single submission.

But, thanks to Tom Fulp, I can now submit the whole game, so that you can play it from the beginning to the end. That's right, the end.
Obviously, the final filesize is pretty big, so please have patience while it loads.

By the way, I removed part 2 from Newgrounds. Part 1, instead, is still online (only because it seems I can't remove it) but I renamed it "DEMO version".

I will mention one last thing: if you defeat Akuma, you get to fight the last, secret match and if you win, you can watch the secret ending.
Good luck with that fight, though, as Akuma is one pretty strong badass.

What else is there to say? Please play my game and review, I hope you'll like it! ^_^

I remember playing this game when part 1 first came out. I was so anxious to play the other parts because there wasnt a full version at the time but ended up with no luck. luckily, i started to search up the different parts every year until i could get some luck. those were the good days. the amazing soundtrack. the story. just everything. this is amazing. Now im 14 and im still playing this lmao but anyways if you could leave a link or give me specific names of the music used in the game, especially in the intro, when you're fighting akuma and when ken and ryu are fighting each other those are the main 3 i would like but if you dont have them thats ok. also is there hope in a new street fighter series coming out or is this your only one. besides that, thanks for being a legend :)

Muja responds:

Thank you for your very kind review, I'm glad there's still someone playing this old game - I'm very proud of it.
By the way, all the musics I've used are official themes from Street Fighter games. Ryu's main theme, Ken's main theme, you can find them on youtube.
And Akuma's theme is actually a remix that mixes both his main theme and Gouken's, and I found that music on youtube too.
Can't help you more than that, 'cause it was a long time ago and I don't remember the exact names anymore.
Thanks again for your review!

Man after so many years i got back here, before i didn't know how to comment, post reviews etc but i just made an acc to say that i want to thank you for creating this game that i loved and still love so much and making it part of my childhood, i legit used to refuse to go outside and play until i didn't finish it.

Muja responds:

Ahaha, it's great that after all this time there's still people who can enjoy this old game. I had quite a lot of fun while making this, and I remember it fondly, too!
Thank you for your review!

The best flash game I have ever played. One question though, what is the name of the song that plays during the "secret" ending? Thx.

Muja responds:

Thank you, and... I really can't remember, it's been so long ago...

Great game! I just want to know what the sad theme is. (The flashbacks of Ryu and Gouken at the beginning of the satsui no hado fight)
Besides that, amazing game, played a long time ago and still love it today!

Muja responds:

Glad you had fun!
As for that theme I really can't remember, it's been too long :(

I found the instructions to very annoying, whenever I play a game I just jump into it and figure it out. It just seemed to be over explained to me for some reason. I really like the idea, and the fighting was reminiscent Paper Mario. Could not capture my attention though, I gave up after losing a round to Balrog. I'm sure it took much time and work to put this together and I'm sure there is great story within, but for me I really wanted to get into it, but I lost interest.

Muja responds:

Thank you for your review, and I kinda get your criticism.. the tutorial tried to shove too many info in too little time, that can certainly be offputting. I'd do it quite differently now.
You have to understand this was my first attempt ever at making a real game, I had only been making sprite movies 'til then :D

Hope you'll have a chance to enjoy my future games!
