Isn't there a story from Medieval times about some kid tossing a worm into a well that grew in size over the months until one night it finally emerged as a dragon and started to devour all the kids in the village? Since I'm a dragon in Chinese astrology I guess I believe in them.

I am walking down the main street of a small town, supposedly frequented by vampires, hoping to find a vampire. It is cold, and the ground is still wet due to the rain which had fallen heavily earlier today. I am very nervous and excited, my heart is beating so fast that I know if there ARE vampires around, they must have been able to hear my heart for a long time. As I walk along the street, i see something move in an alley way ahead of me, about 10 yards away. My heart skips a beat, I am so excited! I continue along at a much quicker pace. "Hello stalker of the night. Care for a feast?" I say into the darkness as finally arrive at the alley. A man with a stake jumps out of the alley way, swinging for my heart. I move to the left quickly, turn, draw my dagger, step behind the man and slit his throat. The man dropped to his knees, blood spilling everywhere. I sigh, disappointed that I was unable to find a vampire. I search the body and find 25 gold peices, a wooden stake, a bottle of holy water, and a crucifice. Then I hear something from over head, like quick movement....

I turn quickly to see a well dressed man standing where no one had been standing before. He look's very pale. "In all my years, I ahve never met someone who has wanted me to make them a vampire, and I have had plenty of years, and plenty of victims. Why? Why should I make you a vampire?" I think hard, but I can not think of a good reason, so i reply, "I have heard of you, Lestat. I heard you are one of the strongest, smartest, most dangerous vampires that has ever lived!" Lestat laughs again. "Trying to kiss ass, I like that. Hmmmm...I might just want to keep you around for laughs, if anything." And with that he sticks his teeth into my neck and drains me of most of my blood. I collapse, everything starts to go white, and then nohting but red. I can feel something dripping into my mouth, and then I tatse the blood. "Drink it down boy, and live forever." I reach up and grab his wrist to bring it closer to my mouth, i begin to suck, harder, harder. I can see the pain in his face. He tries to pull away, but i will not let him. I feel stronger already then i ever felt in my life. He pulls hard and escapes my grasp. "You are strong, extraordinarily strong..." he says in shock. Finally, I am what I hve dreamt of being my entire life...I am Immortal! Lestat picks me up off the ground and flys away...

*continues* I have arived in London still in the darkness of the night. I hear something extrordanary I hear the soun of a stalker in the woods. I smell the boiling blood of my hoarde. I know that a Vampire is approaching and at a great speed. I quickly hop into the limbs of a near by tree and cloak myself. If this really was a lamia it would sense my presence, just as I had sensed it's. My only hope was that it was a weakling, because if it was strong enough I could not take it to my blade like a commoner. I a waited the arrival. a few minutes later I see a man walk out of a shop and start walking towards me. I then see the shadow of a death at this mans back. I see a lamia vigilant and strong. This couldn't be it shouldn't be, but it is it is Lestat out feeding I cannot watch. Lestats feedings usually tend to go mutatious. I hear nothiing, but the sound of him feeding on the poor soul, but to my shock when I look back the man is sucking at the wrist of Lestat. Lestat wouldn't not now. He couldn't, but he has. He has given his ancient blood to create a fledgeling quite possibly strong as I. I luckily have the gift of the original ancients. My blood is older and more potent then the one given to this fledgeling. I knew only one thought in my head. Lestat is making himself a coven. He shouldn't be, I think, this is the territory of the great lamia Armand. Not even Lestat would mess with Armand, which means that something has gone either terribly wrong or terribly right for Lestat. I watch as he picks up his child and fades into the shadows of the night. *next responder*
