Uh yess you can, depending on the angle at which you are when the portal is shot makes all the difference. I shot an upside-down portal on the Black Mesa map pack, I neded to do it to solve the puzzle.

That's strangeIi always thought of the portal as a window,as in no matter which way you place it it will always have the same view,but if what you're saying is true,then a whole lot of other shenangins can be had with portals,yay!

Well that's easy,you would.......um............hmm........wel l since a portal seems to be an inch long,two portals together would make a 2 inch long and 5 foot tall enclosure,and since there is no way you could fit in that enclosure,you would be crushed,perhaps even by your own body.
