Despite the title, no this is not a spam thread.
So I was reading this article on somethingawful.com entitled "Real books that look like photoshops", when I saw that someone had posted a picture of a book called "Natural Harvest: A Collection of Semen Based Recipes". My first thought was of course that it was not real, but out of sheer curiousity I had to look into it.
And it was real.
The site is very plain and offers no sample recipes (what a shame, I know) but I love the way they brag about how "the internet was set ablaze with discussions about cooking with semen!". It provides links to such sites as:
Cosmo Magazine, which describes it as "simply disgusting", and the user comments all seem to agree.
Chicago Reader, which does not give an opinion, but the user comments all seem to take it as very jocular.
A thread on PennyArcade, In which the users seem to find it a mixture of funny and disgusting.
Guanabee, Which provides some recipes for those interested. The user comments vary from questions about the nutritional information of semen to "Ew! Gross, Guanabee. Just gross."
And Geekologie.com, in which the users seem to preoccupied squabbling over first post to even read what the fuck they are commenting on.
But then, if you click their 'buy now' link, it takes you to lulu.com, in which about 90% of the reviews take it suspiciously well. Possibly fake reviews to try and sell this book? You decide.
So of course, my question now is: what is your opinion on this? Are there people out there actually interested in cooking their own cum? And are you???
