Great game fun to waste time on

I used to play this game a lot but now my save data is gone. I am pretty sure I used to run this on the NewGrounds app but now it runs in the browser. Is there a way I can get this to open in the app and maybe retrieve my save data? I am not very experienced with this but I love this game and don't want to start over.
