VIEWING INSTRUCTIONS:
It's a long load and long playing (20+ minutes) so go get something to eat, get comfortable and watch it in full screen.
There's no need to watch Morphemon Duelists Ep.1, it won't affect your understanding of this at all.

IF YOU LIKE THE MUSIC GO CHECK OUT THE ALBUM ON BANDCAMP, there's longer versions of the songs on there to stream and bonus content if you purchase it.

Started working on MD2 in late 2006 and put a good 1-2 years of animation work into it and then a futher 3 years of bullshitting about voices and music. I pretty much ended up doing everything, every voice is mine and aside from 2 guitar parts (thanks Hoblit) the music is completely made by me. And somehow, the original script i wrote in 2006 seems to have withstood these 5 years in development hell without degrading terribly (hooray for character based humor!). I hope people enjoy this... seriously.
Big thanks to Tom Fulp and Newgrounds for sponsoring this... i'm so destitute!

Wow, if nothing else this Flash has magnitude. Nearly half an hour of solid animation, plus you did a lot of voice work yourself. I don't know what all to say about this - most of the drawings are horribly simplistic, and while some objects are elegantly simplistic, others are not. For a few shots you pay exquisite attention to detail, and yet other times you don't. This is so oddly inconsistent I really don't know what to review.

On the issue of the story, I really can't say I enjoyed it at all - watching seemed mostly like a waste of time. Your rap battles tend to be a lot more animated and immediately interesting, whereas this took a very long time to say very little. I'd have to say my favorite part of the animation was the stories at the end, except even then I didn't really like it that much - more like it just held my interest.

There's a definite style here, but you need to take advantage of it and make it work better for you. Part of this comes from how little music there is in this - adjusting the animation to how silent and devoid of energy this animation is would be critical to improving it. The mumbled voices and faded colors made me think of Napoleon Dynamite, only you try too hard to incorporate a narrative and it takes away from the final product.

It's amazing how you did all this, the intro/music was cool, if I tried making one I'd embarass the crap out of myself. It was pretty long, and that's a terrible idea for your movies because you lose tons of views/fans, it needs to be divided so people start begging for more (common sense), there were times where I wanted to stop watching, but it was interesting, it had a lot of redundancy though. I liked the genial drama you added to this movie which was sweet, keep up the good work pig, your work in the street fighter was amazingly funny 10/10 humor because it was like 2 kids arguing with eachother, I came to your profile hoping every movie was like that

i got this face on my FB XD

AWESOME OFF THE CHAIN!!

finally after years you made episode 2 of Morphemon. I can't believe you went threw years animating this flash by animating the characters more and not using the same stuff you made for Epi. 1. btw, how come you didn't get anyother voice actors for the other characters and what happen to the old voices for the girls?
