Well, here we are. This game's like a defense game, but it goes both ways-kill attacking enemies, protect your attacking allies. Read the instructions before you play.

Watch for the huge guys that come in at level 6!

It's a fine game. The music does set a good tone and the upgrades are helpful but if you know what to do you'll have all the upgrades by the late 20 rounds making gameplay repetitive. Although you have an intro telling the reader what happens it seems non important because the game is essentially just a survivor game with RNG deciding if you'll proceed. You also have to completely restart the game as soon as you die which sucks.

I kept playing until I beat round 29, not because I died but because the game never really changes and after I got the upgrades what was the point of playing? There's no scoreboard, no "final round" (or if there is a final round there's not much incentive to achieve it), and the story never seems to progress.

I know this was made in the mid 2000s but some improvements could have been made such as adding an ending

Wish there were checkpoints...

For the time it was many it's a rather entertaining time waster. It could have a more progressive challenging system though.

whats the name of the song in this game?

Could use some work

The game is a good start, but it could use more enemies/allies/upgrades strategy and choices. The game is honestly way too easy after you get double shot and no power bar, and the upgrades are too straight forward, if some options were added, such as having either faster shooting, more power, or something along those lines. It could make it a bit more exiting and hard.
