Ok, I'm back had to work most of today. I'm hard to get a hold of on the week ends cause I'm also a bouncer. I'll go through the posts and look over the people who want to be in, right after I sort out the music thing... I guess I should give it more structure so it's not to crazy.

Basicly you can do whatever you like within the guidelines but try to make it fit the music. There are some slower spots and faster spots in the music.

Think of it as everyone is inspired by the same thing but not telling the exact same story.

Co-author on the NG post will be filled by people who show up on the collab in a big way. Great flash and Great help to other people on the collab.
If you just make your flash and it is kick ass you can get a Co-Author spot... or if you make your Flash and it is good and you work hard to make it better you might get a CO-author spot.

I can't just go by first come first serve but I will be fair and balanced.

question about the song : i think the clips are probably to short, for instance in mine i could do a pretty good peice but its still quite short. maybe have people doing two right next to each other, because you clearly dont want this turning into a newbie collab. just a suggestion but please think about it.

Ok so I lied... I am going after this post though... I just have one thing to ask of the artist for this collab.

If you could do an anamatic of what your animation is going to look like for me it would be great. That way I can see how things will flow.

And to show my good faith here is my crappily drawn anamatic that will help me get all my timing down.

It is a good practice to do an animatic so please ablidge me if you can.

If you want to colaborate with the people on either side of you that is fine. Again that is kinda the reason I was wanting to have some anamatics from each person. so they have thier timing down. and we can slap together a rough cut of the colab so that everyone will know what they are working toward.

I can't decide whether I want pt.4 or 5 so...hmm...Yeah I'll take 4. I really love animating those kinds of music parts where it speeds up the beat dramatically and whatever. I'll get started on my animatic right away. If we end up taking two parts each or something I got dibs on 5 also.

parts one through three seem like they should all be on part.. or, at least parts one and two. I would like to take part one and if I could, two, because I think the very first part of this should be the guy walking along and all of the sudden he sees the robot, and the robot suggests that he's gonna try and get the guy, and then the guys will start running, and that's where part 1 and 2 would end and whoever gets part three can take it from there, do their own thing or continue from where i left off. I want everyone to listen to part 20.
thats the part im taking. So im going to be at the end . At what I wanna do that syncs up with the music, is have the human hiding behind a crate or something, facing the screen, brised up & breathing really heavily, and you can see the robot in the background walking around and looking for him. And at the end of part20 u can here sounds kind of like a giant robot walking, and it fades away.

So yah..you guys say i should do that...or its okay to do that?

I just finished the animatic for mine. Took a while but it shows pretty well what i'm doing. Only thing is I might make the robot shooting at him while he's in the air or something. (thought of that after it was finished and didnt want to go back and put it in).

Just pick one. If you would like to animate yours with part 1 first then later do an Optional Part 2 that is fine... I might be able to work the extra clip into the finalle.

but for now dusty, just pick one. cause if I combine part 1 and 2 that is almost 40 seconds of screen time up front. if you don't show up in a HUGE way we will lose people's intrest quickly. That is why I cut it so short.

If you want to go above and beyond the call then great! It will be rewarded.

For now let me see an animatic for the part you choose.
