Don't mock people? I wasn't mocking anyone... at least not by what I said. I would like to see work before I let people into the collab so that I know they can handle it.

He hasn't mocked anybody. What he said was:

"Ok. Anyone else interested who know what they are doing?"

He's asking people if they want to join in, that know what is expected of them e.g. the amount of frames, the colours, the plot etc. He wasn't mocking you for asking numerous questions.

So basically we just have to animate a chase scene with a human and a robot. If thats the case I have an awesome idea. And with my new drawing tablet I'll be able to do wonders!

i might be interested... how will we know which part of the song we will be animating to? for example I'd like the part of the song towards the begining where the music has a long pause and then gets right back into it. also, i would be interested in doing the menu for this project too, if you'd want any help with that.

Dusty do you have any other Flash work to show? Something on par with 10 seconds of animation if you have it.

Oh yeah... and Don't do the part where the music slows down and then goes crazy. Sorry but that is mine. I can edit music a little so IF your chase has a slow part I can lower the music so it is more tense and bring it back in on a heavy beat... perhaps add a crash or something... or even reloop it possibly. for now work on the beat and when we see who is moving along the best we will deside.

Dusty_h yes if you want to do an entry I'll use it. I'm thinking about cutting between clips in the final so that everything will blend... I don't know for sure.

I don't need help on the menu, or at least I shouldn't... It will basicly be a play button and an artist menu to learn more about the people in the collab. Shouldn't be to hard.

I'd like to do something for this. Here's some work of mine (mainly just shows my artwork but yeah I can do fbf pretty well with it too). I'd also like to say I think we should asign like 15 second parts of the song to people just so that you can get an even more dramatic effect by syncing up with the music.

Btw that's just the beginning of a to-be-finished music video I'm working on in case you were wondering.

Questions---

1. Does everyone get a particular segment of the song to animate to?
2. Are the animated pieces interconnecting, as in ARTIST 2 carries off from where Artist 1 ended? Or is it more of "do whatever you want within the guidelines", so that everything is similar?

is there a shot of me getting one of the co-author spots? if not i guess i'll still contribute but i dont know.

I'm definitely interested in this. I'm good in flash, I have one on my site, some on my comp and one in the simple and clean collab. I'll do as much as you want me to cuz I really want that Co-Author spot!

btw, dont bother checkin my submissions, there pretty bad since i havent been able to submit in about 4 or more months.
