Just because it uses lines and not brush strokes doesnt mean it's not frame by frame. Believe it or not fbf looks alot better with thin lines rather than with uneven brushstrokes if you do it well. I'm pretty sure his is fbf though.

well, I'm still having trouble with my guy running, sideways and towards the cam, I'll still try but so far things aren't going good :-(

FUCK! I was fucking working on my second background and fucking BAM! "flash has perfomed and illegal operation" "debug" "close" So fucking gay. It was about 99% done too and I was about to save it. 2 and a fucking half hours of solid work down the drain. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to start that whole fucking thing over again! FUCK FUCK FUCK.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Something I learnt at college over the past year was to make sure you save atleast every 15 minutes just incase something like that happens. It's a right pain in the arse when it does happen though! I'd work on something else instead and come back to that tomorrow. That way, you aren't spending 5 hours straight on one picture.

Yea I'm just downloading/listening to music/playing games right now...god it pisses me off though. I just can't work on it right now though.

Tystarr: MSN = Jack@jacksmack.com I had already posted it but it's easy to miss I'm sure. And yes I like the sig. I think it's neat that everyone is taking thier own angle on the sig... works well for "Altered Reality" concept.

Project_Stasis: Your walk cycle looks really good but you have a few small problems. Mainly with the legs. They don't look like they are popping into place. Your arms have pretty good flow only small pop on the back arm when it goes behind him. You are just a few tweeks away from a great walk cycle. If you are stumped on how to fix it you can email me the fla and I'll fix it. It's just a small problem.

True_Darkness: Uh oh. having major problems? You can do it. The first guy you made wasn't badly animated. It was just drawn wierd. show me a drawing of your new character and I'll see if I see any problem areas. -Aztec-: Been there done that... very agrivating to have Flash do that to you. I learned in college to save often by using an Egg Timer, just the kitchen timer variety. Saving my work and resetting it to 5 min every time it went off. Eventually it just became a habit that I haven't broken. I only used the egg timer for 3 days until I was a saving fiend.

-snare-: You are gonna need to work bigger if you can or at least increase the size of the robot in the movie. Your outlines were way to thick... almost makes him look like a plush toy. I think you can handle it you will just need to put time in and tweek your drawings. Oh yeah, BETA tests are done in the gaming industry, in animation they are just called tests... we could call them Delta Tests or Fi Beta Gamma tests if you like. :P J/K.

Just so you know for his purposes that's actually exactly what we needed. He was mainly just showing it to me and trust me it works. You've seen my work I know what's good and that's what it was supposed to be for our purpose of that.

If you need any help with it, Jack, i can do some scripting and design and whatnot.

For the menu I was thinking about having a robot hanging on a wall and as the movie loads he powers up. then at the end have him jump down and punch the camera cracking the screen.

Then the menu loads. It doesn't have to be the cracked screen. but I thought that up the preloader.
