Ya I think so. The other ones looked like the buildings were in a mid day scene. this makes them feel like they belong more.
I really wish I could work on mine. I have the BEST idea for mine. Hmm didn't think anyone else would use a city...Oh well, mine should still work out. It's kinda good how everyone is doing a city scene so everything stays in tack.

If possible a Strong showing for frame by frame animation. Not to say there can't be tweens but try frame by frame for something.

There has to be a background unless it is clearly styled that way. and not just laziness.
Post an animatic and then regular updates as you go to get feedback. Trust me the guys in the collab can help you out of a jam you didn't even know you were in.
