... I can't even move my character. I'm running a state of the art alienware, on a chrome browser with a strong internet connection. Don't really no what else to say. Looks cool though....

From the graphical presentation, I feel like I should be giving a better score, but this is honestly quite lacking as an RPG.
The game opens up with a slideshow cutscene which shows off some pretty nice art. The story itself is nothing special, and the characters didn't have much appeal in the long run despite how unique their designs are. There was a fairly long intro for the characters in the beginning, but there was hardly anything to follow it up, so I just didn't care about what was going on by the end.
The controls were functional, but inefficient. The only option here is switching between WASD or arrow keys (honestly, I have no idea what the point of choosing is; you could have just had both.) These controls are only used for navigating outside of battle, everything else is done by the mouse. There aren't any hotkeys for any of the menus [i.e. no pressing "I" for inventory], and it becomes quite tedious. The battle menu has one of the worst issues because the action menu slides up when it becomes a character's turn: this is a problem because the battle mechanics encourage fast menu input, yet I was often punished by trying to make a quick selection by opening up the wrong menu.
All around, there isn't that much meat to the game. A lot of RPG fundamentals are missing: you can't get any equipment from shops or monster drops, and you can't even sell old equipment. Potions are ultimately the only method of healing (even if you use healing skills, you can only recover magic with potions.) In total, there aren't even that many items for you to loot from chests. There also isn't a very large variety of skills. There aren't any sidequests, and the story doesn't take that long to complete. There isn't even any replay value because the whole thing is linear, unless you want to play through to allocate your skill points differently, but it doesn't make that big of a difference.
Battles were incredibly monotonous, except for the infrequent occasion when a character could use a special skill for a bit more extra damage or when I had to heal/revive a character. The biggest factor to this monotony was that the enemies weren't animated at all; I couldn't even tell when they did a special move unless I noticed that a character took a large amount of damage. There just wasn't any impact in the battles, nothing to keep it exciting. It also doesn't help that there was only one battle track (as far as I could tell.)
Battles were also somewhat buggy. I wasn't always able to use my skills for some reason; early on I had thought Cinnacat wasn't able to use his healing abilities in battle because I simply wasn't able to select them. It wasn't until I was occasionally unable to select the skills for other characters that I figured out that there was a bug, and that Cinnacat actually could heal in battle. Also, Fjor's Snap Freeze didn't immobilize an enemy for one turn like the skill description says; instead, it immobilized the enemy for the entire battle. It was totally overpowered, and I beat the last bosses with impunity.
Relic's only strong point is that it looks nice. The environments and characters are well drawn. It's also nice that some of your characters' appearances change depending on what weapons/shields they have equipped. But that's about it: the actual "game" parts are very lackluster.
The menu button would refuse to call up when I clicked on it. Now, you can see the problem with that, in that I can't use it for anything outside of combat, or in combat, I can't save, I can't use equipment, anything...
That alone is a massive bug, which can make the game unplayable. Well, not unplayable, just that you can't do anything outside of click on chests and fight. Pressing 'Q' doesn't fix this anyway.
Relic could be a great game, but the bugs just make it a poorly executed game. I agree with the other reviewers who discussed that Relic looks decent from an artwork perspective, but gameplay is quite, quite important.
I really hate to be a downer, the game had great potential but honestly it was terrible...
I'm glad you're fixing a lot of aspects and keeping up on it but really it's more then just glitches.
The market... There was no place for me to buy or sell weapons and armor! Not to mention it was very tiny.
The story of the gods relics being left on the world made me think I could get some kind of godsword then free roam, but no. I couldn't free roam and the story ended abruptly with a short comic.
Magic moves did not amplify my strength, in fact they were much more weaker then the 'fight' option, also I never missed with that option, magic had no advantage for me.
Enemies just surprise you, you don't know when you're about to get into a fight, make them visible please.
Glitches:
*sometimes standing in the same place puts you in the same spot, with ridiculously stronger strength, they one hit my teamates in some cases.
*NONE of the final bosses hit me, the sackmen did, but the bosses stood still as I progressively destroyed them.
*When opening the menu in an unsafe area, sometimes it throws you right back into combat with the menu open.
*During the talking scene where you find tracks, sometimes your put right back in the previous fight.
The game had GREAT potential, I just hope you fix all these mistakes and release a totally revamped version, with a bigger market, and more of a variety of weapons and armor. Hope this helps, goodluck.
Kinda boring. There's too many RPG games like this. However, this animation wasn't well worked on, and the plotline is pretty sloppy. Stick to your little Hood series, because this isn't going to be successful as you think.
Haha, jealous much? Don't worry sport, someday you'll probably do a thing.
