Reviews for "Relic"

I played this game for about 10 minutes and this kept happening. I would be walking south with the S key and the char would get stuck in movement until I hit the S key again. That happened in all directions. It is annoying when you are walking west and you want to turn north and the char doesnt want to go north but keep going west. The movement is a little buggy and should be fixed. Other than that it is a very nice RPG game and I think it could be even better with this issue solved.

Having some problem with the save feature. I use the runed-circle to save as instructed in-game. Then I go to load later the same day and the load button produces no result.

Hyptosis responds:

Sounds like your cooky got cleared/didn't save. It just saves to a cookie.

ok, I honestly didnt played it because I didn't like it (I only got to the first save spot). The graphics are good and all and I'm guessing that if this game is improved or made into a sequel it would be good.

The things I didn't like were that you can't choose your own class (since is an RPG) and I didn't really got the story, I don't know if that was just me, I think there should've been a better story for this.
(Remember, I only played until I saw the first save spot)

This game is everything a JRPG should be.

That's why it doesn't entirely work.

Okay, I'll start positive: artwork is great, you've established a grand, epic backstory for the world before we even begin (and dumped it all on us in the first few seconds) and then we start the game.

The interface is pretty clunky, but it's functional at least. The battles aren't terrible, but they are terribly repetitive... though, that's to be expected. If you were going to take one thing from the standard JRPG format, you could've made it so that the party members are introduced gradually rather than dumped on you all at once. That way each one seems person and important.

Everything I've wanted to say has been already said by other people though. The game isn't terrible. It's not even bad. It's just... below average. Slightly over par. Almost there but not quite. I want to say it has potential, and it might, but not for me. I just don't like the grindy tedious format, because it makes the game feel like a chore. The artwork really is awesome though.

There's obviously a lot of work put into this, and I'll look forward to your future games.

its like final fantasy series or blue dragon
