The NEW! Level Projections & NEW! Rank Projections are just awesome
pretty nice done, i like it very much
the buttons doesn't work yet, right?... well is cool
The buttons do work, Aldlv. Key in a different value i nthe white input area, and then press the button. For example, if the system figures that your daily BP is 30 overall, but you know going forward you're going to do 40, change it to 40 and click. The page will refresh with updated date estimates
and i would like to know if there is a possibility to put in the--/--/---- of the lvl that you already got... The day that you got them?
I know... sounds kinda hard, maybe just saving on variables the day for each lvl...
but i would be cool to see it that way (so you don't need to pass like 200 logins to find when you lvl up to certain lvl)
Actually, I thought of doing that first, but I realized that some people don't log as frequently as others, and it was hard to estimate "between levels" for any given level. If I can think of a decent mathematical model to follow to make it work, I might add it later.
well... is just an idea...
And a very good one at that. Just real tough to implement....

Maybe, figure out a way to track how many whistle points you have instead of just the rank?
To tell you the truth it is impossible to track the actual whistle points any given user has at any given time because no one except for the administrators. So this idea would never even take off, it's a good idea don't get me wrong but there is no way to do it even if we wanted to. It was ment to be a game :::in a way::: for us to have fun with so giveing us the points you need for each whistle and showning them to us is just defeating the original idea for the whole system to help clean up the site and not just have it just because someone wants to be a stat whore.
idiot-buster is very correct here. There are no secret numbers that I can access to tell the exact whistle points. I only have access to the current level.
In fact, let me tell you a secret: Casualty NEVER had access to ANY files. He figured out a way to actually open up specific NG User HTTP pages inside his program, and search out, parse and extract the data. This makes three very important points: 1) I can only grab what we all can see on our pages, 2) If NG is down, the logs won't be able to read data from the site and 3) if they redesign the user pages at NG, NG Logs will fail until I can change the parser accordingly...

Sorry for the double post, but I made a huge discovery! (I think so, anyway)
For those of you who have trouble logging on IE7, I have good news. I was trying for like a half hour to log on IE7 with no success, even after doing everything byteslinger said. So then I tried going to http://www.wkrconcepts.com/nglogs/index.
php and I logged successfully. Though I guess I have to thank gfoxcook for that because I saw his posts on byteslinger's page. Anyway I'm happy now.
Yes, thanks to all the poor souls who ran into murky waters with IE7. Seems that a combination of security settings and cookie management made life difficult for a while. I can't always solve a problem with programming, but I will find an answer one way or another...

Can we see a redesign now?
Be patient, my friend. I just got the keys to the shop last week, and I'm still learning all the details and the interesting innards of how this all works. Casualty did a fine job, and there are A LOT of details behind the scenes to manage. I have been thinking about how to streamline it, add some more stats, and do a bit more - but these are all in the preliminary planning stages. So, yes, eventually, I will do some sort of redesign, but it's going to be a few months away. The hardest part is testingf a redesign while not screwing up the live site. What fun!

Don't forget to factor DST, without it, Central becomes -6 and Eastern -5.
Got it. Again, many thanks to all who have helped me track down the little things, and have given me so much positive support. I do appreciate it all, and as I promised, NGLogs will not just survive - it will thrive!
