Newgrounds has been getting bad publicity since Pico's School. Just check out the Hate Mail section in Literature, if you don't believe me. And Wade isn't exploiting the situation, since he makes no money off of the flash, and is probably going to lose some money hosting it if more people see it than the server can handle. He might even lose advertisers who would be offended to be promoting Weis. He's doing it because there's just no way to keep it secret anymore, and even if there was, it wouldn't help anyone wanting to know what was going on in that poor bastard's mind. Maybe it can save more people like Weis and future potential school-shooting victims. On the other hand, this is what you call making money off a tragedy.

I don't really know how to feel about this. Sure, it's wrong to exploit a young man's tragedy only to get attention geared toward the site, but maybe his flash had nothing to do with what he did recently. Sure, it's foreshadowing, but maybe it's a coincidence. Or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass and the flash was really a cry for help. But his comment said specifically that he was just doing it to test out Flash. I mean, there's approximately an assload of violent stuff on this site, but not all of the people who made that stuff went out and murdered their classmates. Well, Newgrounds sure is getting a lot of attention lately, isn't it?

A simple sentence at the top stating "Increased traffic due to recent media reports have been straining our servers so we are linking the Jeff Weise flash here to prevent taking searches."

This is a pretty good suggestion. It also pushes NG further away from Weise's actions.

I dont know if anyone has noted this yet, but in his profile it says one of his favorite movies is "Elephant". This really caught my eye because it came out 1 or 2 years ago and is based on the story of Columbine. Its a movie about the killer's lives and decisions, just thought i might point that out if it hasnt already and make the connection here, is anyone else seeing it?

The flash just sends chills to me. He goes and makes a violent flash, and he makes it real. He was a creepy kid.
