Hurricane Charley is about to slam into Florida and will most likely leave a path of devastation and death. We hope all our NG fans in this area have moved to safety and will survive this killer storm. If anyone is in the area of the hurricane leave some comments about what's going on. If you have a digital camera and can safely take pictures, post them with your comments. Good luck to those in the path of this storm.

Ahh, it's nice to see that the Americans only give a damn about themselves again. What about those people in Havanah, Cuba who got / are getting the worst of it at the moment? They don't have access to the sort of supplies and medical treatment available in America.

I hope all the people in the path of Hurricane Charlie find a safe place to hide before time runs out.

Yessir it is. Its the biggest since Andrew to go through the area. I'm just glad that I left Florida a couple days ago before the storm hit. To all in Florida, good luck and good health.

I don't see any Cubans giving us prayers... Ponder that... However, thats kind of besides the point. An analogous situation would be say, you praying for a neighbor's saftey before you prayed for own family's.

It sucks, becasue My aunt and two cousins live in St.Petersburg, Fl. But to make matters worst, my mother, and my other two aunts, are down there, to celebrate my Florida aunt's 45th birthday. I hope they will be alright....

Its called nationalism....i wonder why people only care for their country not for some communist wasteland, half of those cubans you are supporting are probably on a raft here as we post.

I wonder what it's like to be in a hurricane. Up here in the NW we only get rain and sun...it snows every couple of years but thats about it. No "exotic" weather if you will.

Well, when the hurricane was at Cuba, a weather station in Florida was keeping in touch with a Cuban weather station, giving them updates on the hurricane and such by use of a "HAM Radio". Since they didn't know what was happening during the storm. (i.e. the exact area of where the hurricane was [it was in Cuba obviously at the time, but where the eye was and such])

I live in Miami (south east Florida), so nothing special has been happening, other than some unusually high speed winds. No rain though. Supposedly, the Tampa area hasn't gotten this big of a hurricane in 50 years. And I got a friend in Tampa. >_< Hope he's okay...

Damn look at the size of that thing. Even here in north new jersy with have a flood watch!
