multiplayer games just NEVER work out on newgrounds dude. its rare to even ever see a single person on these types of games.
edit 1: its really depressing standing by the pit of fire. i feel so... alone.
edit 2: 4 stars for the graphics and ambiance.
edit 3: also i got to disagree with strongbads review. the game lets you make theory's about what's happening, why its always constantly raining and why you are picking up what looks like to be corpses to throw them in the fire. this game makes you make up your own lore about the game, a really nice touch. its not about gameplay that would make this game better, its about finding a friend, exploring with them, doing little spins and figuring out ways to communicate. i honestly think mysterious games like this are really cool. adding easter eggs or anything that can be used to make more theory's would make this game even better. hope to see more in the future.
Not the kind of game that works as well if you're in the Southern hemisphere
I love it. I really thought its not that fun at first but I kept going. After maybe 6 rocks I saw something weird, another me but in place I already was. I thought "Hmm nice this game has npc's that run around. But the more I run with them the more they seemed like real people. The first one was a leader, I was the one following and I guess that dynamic worked for a bit. But it wasnt long when I was the only one there again. The next one was kinda shy, maybe he didnt know I was real but he started following me and I showed him some places where I found rocks. We kinda run around doing what we had to and it was kinda fun? Even without chat I could see and feel what the other one wanted and felt. Sadly he had to go, I figured that out because he stood a while near the big flame and ran around in circles for a bit. I guess he wanted to know If I was real before he logs out. I did some circles in the oposite way so he could be certain he made a friend. Im kinda happy and sad right now. Happy that I could have fun with someone I dont know, but im also kinda sad because I will never know him.
I hope you live a good life, both of you :)
I think it's neat.
