@SnowyBangers: Thats fantastic news, looking forward to a banger.

@MetalBooster: I havent decided yet. The frame rate is 20, please place the animation in a movie clip and then place it to fit on stage.

@Riott: Ive been using my wacom for a few years already and i still struggle with the concept of hand eye coordination haha. Just out of curiousity does anybody use a clintiq (drawing straight on screen) for their animations?

@RecklessCreation: Shot man, downloaded and it works on CS4. Btw it looks awesome, I really like your style :]

Thanks man, it was a fun piece to make, thanks for having me. I hope it fits well in the finished product.

So I accidentallly didn't back up my last one before I made new trees so I tried to clean it up again anyway, still not great but I just need to keep practicing. Thanks for letting me be involved in this collab and I'll try to think my next one out better...
I put all the symbols in a folder called riott and put the whole animation into a movie clip called fullanim in that folder.

.SWF

.FLA

aye.

no cintiq but just as good.

Fujitsu T4220 tablet laptop.

pen and digitizer are made by wacom. good quality.

picked mine up for $130 with a bad HDD

usually go for around 3-400 with the better processor and ram like mine.

No display tablet here, just the Wacom Bamboo that I won a few years back from here actually (Newgrounds). Rocking a razr Naga, and a 42 inch TV as a monitor.

@MetalBooster: As i told you, i like the detail on th lamborghini but your background animation needs more work. Keep working on it and it will get better :]

@Riott: As i have privat messaged you, it is difficult to make out what is going on here. Work on bringing definition into this piece. Keep it up and thats a cool looking tablet, havent seen one like that before :]

@RecklessCreation: Nice setup, keyboard that lights up, big ass screen and a gaming controller is an animator needs but very dusty haha. Congrats on winning your tablet, what did you win it for? And if you find the time then you can submit another part...

@Max-Vador: That is such an awesome laptop and what a bargain so im guessing you use an external hard drive but what do you run your os on?

I use a wacom Intuos 4 that took me about two years of watering to fund this baby :] And use two computer screens, one 19 inch and the other 22 inch. But it doesnt really matter if you have the latest gadgets they are just tools, it is the skill of the artist that matters.

yeah, its a very dusty place here where i live, I dust like every 2 days and it still ends up like this >.<

I would do another part but I'm focusing on my solo project at the moment.

is that the DiNovo keyboard reckless? used to have one but with the track pad. i have a saitek now. Logitech went all laptop keys, and i love the thick clickers personally.

@Zee: it's got it's own hard drive and runs windows 7 64-bit. i'm actually looking to sell it soon and get a newer model but it was well worth the money and works great for animation

You cleaned :] I really must say this is such an awesome workspace, sophisticated enough for getting work done and laid back for games. I think you have found the perfect balance.

Im looking at your submission and was wondering if you would be interested or find the time to separate the wall kick scene and shooting scene into two seperate 60 frame submissions and i will run then next to each other...

@Max-Vador: Please pm me your fla files for your submissions. Same here windows 7 is a winner

UPDATE:
I will start combining the finalized animations in January and send out the invites around the same time.
So keep checking in for updates :]

LOL yeah I dusted a bit, yeah this set up is awesome, I've gotta Sumo Sack Omni that I am using as my chair, works nice :D

And sorry, I doubt I'll have time to separate the parts, If i somehow get time I'll see what I can do, but don't count on it. Work is going to start picking up now, so free time is going to be rare.

they're CS6. i can save down to CS5 for someone to convert to CS4 for you.

Response to 60 Frame Collab 5: 2012-11-20 12:03:30

Hmmm. I have 2 questions. Does it need sound or no? I can convert my animation to swf with no quality loss since 3 seconds of animation doesn't make a big file. Do I upload a swf file only? If so, I'll enter and won't let you down :).

Mrcoleman please dont include sound. I will add music once all animations have been combined. Ummm... you can upload an swf file of your process work here in this forum and once the animation is finalized then you can pm the final swf & fla doc in CS4 format. Im sure you won't :]

@Nat29: Thank you very much for your help. If anybody else needs to convert down from CS5 to CS4, could i ask them to contact you??

hey zeebs I have two ideas that I have roughed out, my favourite involves animating character I don't have the rights to, guess it doesn't classify as a parody because not much can happen in 60 frames. Its Beemo from "Adventuretime" smoking a cigarette, with John K 'like' facial expressions. Is something like this allowed if its interesting enough?

Just a little bit of an update so you know I'm not inactive from this project: I have been working pretty hard on my part for the Just a Monday collab since the deadline is earlier and it's longer and with sound ect. but when I'm done I still plan on making more 1 or possibly more submissions for this :D
