"Include in Art Portal" Checkbox

If this box is checked and your account has been scouted, your art will be listed in the Art Hub. This is intended for finished pieces; please uncheck the box if you've uploaded a WIP or sketch. If you uncheck this box, your art will still be available on your personal gallery page, the feeds of your followers and in search.

Scouting

Existing members of the art community have the ability to scout you.

Once scouted, your art will be listed in the Art Hub and you will have the ability to scout others. Artists can lose the ability to scout others if they exercise poor judgment. Artists can also be de-scouted if their art is considered below the quality showcase for the hub, and can be permanently banned if they break the rules.

Scouting is not a guaranteed thing that should be expected; if you aren't scouted, your art will still appear on your personal gallery page, the feeds of your followers and in search.

For the health of the Art Portal, your art will be held to a higher standard if you are posting fetish or sexually charged art in the E-M categories. This has become necessary because when too much of the latest art is sexually charged, people who aren't looking for that sort of material get scared away from the Art Portal. You may also be de-scouted if you regularly incorrectly rate Adult art.
