Reviews for "The Blind Swordsman"

I knew this was an April Fools' Day game, and I played anyway. Well played, Evil-Dog. Well played indeed...

Awesome game. This is a concept that I've never seen before. Super original, and super fun. It can be a bit frustrating at times, but that makes victory that much more satisfying.

And for those who have no idea what to do, every opponent has a tactic you need to deploy. What the Blind Swordsman says before fighting is a hint.

THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS

At first, yeah, it's difficult. Insanely difficult. But, once you've died enough times you'll learn through trial and error exactly when someone's going to attack, and thus when to block. After that it's just about waiting the right amount of time after the block to counter attack. The swordsmen are medium speed, so once you get that rhythm right, it's just a little longer wait for the people with maces and a little shorter for the people with knives. The wolves are pretty much the same speed as swordsmen, but they can be pre-empted if you hit them mid way through their pre-attack growl.

Not yet on the horseman level, right now just struggling with the small army of mixed enemies. Holy fuck this is hard.

Don't be afraid to die a lot. You'll hone your skills way better than you thought you could. This is a ridiculously rewarding game.

this game is only for the most hardcore of people which is not i couldn't pass the first lvl but i parried him after much practice so i had to check if this game was an april fools game or not through inspection i figured out that this is game is not its just really fuckin hard this game has my respect

how do i defeat the warlock??

Evil-Dog responds:

dodge his fireballs and when he does his teleport series, listen to his pattern, it's always the same, he ends up somewhere relative to you, just gotta preempt it
