Reviews for "0RBITALIS"

I loved the art, the background music (sound?) and the sounds :3 Really interesting concept, loved how it's possible to get never ending orbits on some of the levels. Challenging too

Would adding a little music and some quality sound effects kill you? Sure, it was a pretty cool idea, just not very executed very well. Very simple, but it got boring quick. The visuals were choppy, and I was expecting some stunning backgrounds at the very least. It looks to me that minimal effort was into a well thought out idea.

Managed to achieve perfect (if non-centered) orbit around Canis Majoris. A stellar example (if you'll pardon the pun) of the difference between "simple" and "boring", as this is the former without being the latter.

AlanZucconi responds:

Thank you! Canis Majoris is one of the very few system to be "almost in scale". This is why orbits are SOOO damn stable there! All the other ones are very... ... ...not in scale! ;p

The only bad thing I can talk about is the music. Where's the music?

AlanZucconi responds:

This game was an entry to LD48! :-)
So it was make in 48 hours hehe! ;p

I am working on a new version that I'll upload after Ludum Dare! :)

Very cool. Almost seems more like a toy than a game, but obviously there are levels to beat so it's a game. Really entertaining, although it involves a lot of guessing, you can figure out how to almost predict the orbit. Gets kinda repetitive, but what do you expect from a game made in 48 hours. Good Job.
