The ending pushes it over the top...
It was a great game, with outstanding atmosphere, sound, and control. But after the final dive, the ending moved the game from around 8.5-9 range and into a ten spot. It's a game where you can look back and reflect on not only the game play, but the message. That speaks volumes for a game, especially on a site such as this.

It's good, but...
This game is fun to play, but there is a major glitch that pops up frequently. The game acts like your holding the left or right button and sticks. I try to fix the problem by clicking out the window, and it seems to work, only to do it again once I press either left or right.

Yeah, that key sticking problem started when they changed how keyboard input works in the upgrade to AS3. I still haven't found a solution. It's pretty lame.

The music and atmosphere is awesome and gives the game really an artfull touch.
Graphics are very simple but fit very good to the game!
I also like that you can just start playing without great instructions and so on..this is kinda rare..

Thanks! I worked hard to make sure that the instructions were only what was absolutely needed, since a big part of the game is the process of figuring out how it works. And yeah, David and Tristan did a great job with the audio!

I was like......what? Then I figured it out.
Jeez, that was crazy; but I wish you would have allowed us to replay from if you die. I want to go back down there now and settle a score!
Great gameplay, relaxing, inventive, short enough to allow you to easily play then leave.

While it might be nice to easily replay the last scene, I think it would completely lose its punchiness. There's only one ending, by the way.

the game doesn't end until you got the infinite depth upgrade.you need to buy that and go deep until you find the 9th guffin.then swim around a little while and you will see the end.
The game was really great and unique it was really worth my time playing it.
