Reviews for "Fisher-Diver"

Awesome game, took up like a hour of excitement

So let me ask you this... why at the end in the breathable part, was there another sub that shot me. i that the way you end/win. I just want to win!

FreeAsANerd responds:

Thanks! And there is only one ending.

weird..but great at the same time

I had great time playing Fisher-Diver... the music goes great with this game

FreeAsANerd responds:

Thanks! "Weird...but great" is a much more meaningful compliment than you might expect.

why...

does the boss guy take no damage? i evaded his attacks and shot him atleast 200 times yet he kept going unaffected...

FreeAsANerd responds:

The Captain's equipment is far, far superior to yours.

Immersible Atmosphere

I found myself lost in the under sea atmosphere that you created here. The minimalist graphics, simple game mechanics, and lulling music put me in a happy place reminiscent of early games I used to play as a kid.
All in all this is a great project and I look forward to playing your future endeavors, thanks!

FreeAsANerd responds:

Yes, yes! The games we played as kids!

Something I always loved about video games when I was a little kid was that I didn't fucking understand them. I didn't know all of the rules and couldn't be bothered to read all of the manuals, so I spent a lot of time dicking around and trying to figure out how things worked.

This was a big part of why I started making games, and it's also a big part of the games I make now-I try to include the instructions that are required to avoid confusion, but if the player can learn something on their own, I'd much rather let them do that. The love of discovery is one of our greatest assets.

Game glitch

Its a really good game, although there is a glitch that my character tries to move itself in one direction and I cant control it.

FreeAsANerd responds:

Yeah, this has to do with how Flash handles key input. Try clicking inside the Flash window and pressing all of the WASD and Arrow keys.
