This reminds me of
The Greek story of Orpheus and his dead wife Eurydice. hes to rescue her from Hades but he can't look back. he succeeds in rescuing her but before exiting, he turns to her and she is sucked back into Hades. sad.

Even though this is a pixelized game, the creator does a good job at keeping you interested. Magnificent!!!
A shining example of... everything?
Just hard enough that right when I was ready to give up, i moved on to the next screen. I love the simple old school graphics and mechanics. Plus a great story with a great ending... Play it through! it should take less than an hour...
