Reviews for "Breathe With Me"

Enjoyable

I'm glad to see something so deserving on the top 5. There is quite a bit of depth in this piece. I has the perfect amount of drone and development where it's subtle, but still revolves around my mind over and over.

Great work :)

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Wow, thanks for the compliments Sine! I have always enjoyed your ambient work and thought your halloween entry was very well done. I wanted this to be complete drone with chill to revolve around a mood of meditation and relaxation. I wanted it to cause you to think and visualize. I wanted it to let people breathe.

:'-(

hmm, it's kinda dark and sad :(

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

I played this while depressed, so I wouldnt be surprised if some people got certain sad feelings from this song. Sorry, it is a really deep song so there might be some emotional problems. Thanks for liking the deepness of it though. :)

Screw the zero bombers

This song makes sense if you READ THE DESCRIPTION... It's a nice ambient song and I guess could be used to sleep to... though the whooing (IDK how to describe it) kinda creeps me out XD. Overall, it's a nice song to, well, meditate to. The feeling of the music washing over you gives that sense of inner calm as well as allowing that reflection into the inner self that meditation is all about. I recommend listening to this with earphones. They really allow for that sense of surround that the song gives and the feeling of tranquility by nearly drowning out any other extraneous noise. Well done.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Totally, if you listen without headphones the song doesn't really have the full effect on you that it should. :)

Journey was worth it

I Stumbled upon this song when it was front paged on NG. I left it on as I was surfing around and it became background noise to eventually grabbing my whole attention. I was hooked from then on. I kept it on loop and lied on my back in my bed and just listened, nothing specific nor vivid came to my mind and I listened but I just keep listening anyway. Even now as I am listening and attempting to write a review I just am stuck with a mix of emotions.

I later came back to find this song and listen some more now that it's night and I could listen without any lights on. Yet to my dismay it was no longer front paged.

I remember it had the word breath in the title but thats all I could remember, but I went through the audio pages and attempted alphabetically before I found that to be a huge hassle. I then saw I could just do a broad search by title, so there I typed breath and hit enter. a minute or two later I once again was reunited with this song, and decided to write this review just so it would be saved in my profile since I can't find a favorite button. But none the less though I write this for somewhat selfish means, I assure you this song is as amazing as everyone else says so, and I very much look forward to learning how to use NG so I can keep better track of your work.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

I appreciate your review a lot. It isn't selfish at all, In fact it shows me how much you are dedicated to this and really warms my heart up. In fact, I am going to go finish my next ambient song right now!

Just heard this on Radiogrounds shoutcast, excellent. Thought I'd come here and mention that. Very chillout.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Thanks for letting me know! I am rarely on this site anymore... but I will certainly check it out.
