Heh, in both games, I named my band Arise Chicken. Let's just say I was watching way too much Aqua Teen Hunger Force that night.

Also, I ALMOST had my first FC on expert; but then I was interrupted, I lost my concentration, and broke combo. I'm so freaking pissed and I've got a headache from it, so it sucks even worse.

That song took me a few tried just to five-star, nevermind an FC.

It's was a bitch for me to five-star too and once I did I ignored it for a long time. The patterns may be a little tricky, but they're pretty straight forward. Once you get them down it's not that tough of an FC. If you can get Monkey Wrench you should be able to get this one with a little practice.

The 360 Version released 3 MCR songs as DLC. I bought the pack because it is original instead of GH1 remakes. Plus, I got two acheivements from one song. But that does not mean they are easy.

i have a few friends with the 360 and all ive wanted was to have the re release of the classic setlist from the original, i know for a fact that there are a few of them out there including B@tM, higher ground, killer queen, take it off, ace of spades and a few others, but why didnt they bust out the rest of them?

my best guess is that they want to maintain the difficulty on certain songs due to the practice mode availiable on the 360.

thats why ive always thought that GH1 compared to GH2 was more difficult, no practice mode. no hyper mode.

can you imagine how many more five stars you would see on songs like the flood if you could pinpoint troublespots and slow it down?

jordan is meant to be the pinnacle of what is humanly possible in this world (the bane of my existence thusfar), every other song is merely a stepping stone to the top, and while i dont believe that the GH3's boss song {DRAGONFORCE: THROUGH THE FIRE & FLAMES} to be an easy task to complete by any means, i believe it is meant to serve as a stepping stone towards beating jordan, albeit a very, very, very, very, difficult stepping stone at that, but a stepping stone nonetheless

i believe that you are referring to the opening lick that continues throughout the song, there is a way to master this without hammer ons or pull offs in a way, this is what must be done:

it revolves around using the HO/ PO technique but by strumming every note for the accuracy instead of relying solely on the HO/PO

first, know what notes are being played and the order: G R G R Y R Y R B R Y R Y B O

then what you need to do is look for the easiest transition from the [{G} {R} {Y} {B} O] hand position to the
[G {R} {Y} {B} {O}] hand position without missing the beat

i found for me, the best time to do this is playing the G R G (keeping the G finger down), then sliding my index finger from the G to the R and finishing the line (holding the R down) Y R Y R B R Y R Y B O

knowing how to stum is also key.

the upbeats and downbeats are represented by the lowercase u and d(the > is when the slide occurs):

G R G > R Y R Y R B R Y R Y B O
d u d > u d u d u d u d u d u d

i found that after practicing this pattern my score jumped from a trial run of about 130,000 to 230,000 which surprised me that i didnt get the five stars i was expecting but i now know it is humanly possible

go ahead and try the fingering without the game first and make sure you have it down a bit before you try the real thing

if you can get all of those tricky runs throughout cowboys WITH starpower at a full X8 then youll be in good shape, i gaurantee it

I have played Guitar Hero 2 with my friends, and it is awesome!!!!!! Trust me, you are going to like it. There are many great songs like Message In A Bottle by The Police, You Really Got Me by Van Halen, War Pigs by Black Sabbath, and many more. I am going to buy Guitar Hero 3 for my Wii when it comes out in October. Have fun playing Guitar Hero 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet, I just beat Free bird on expert!

I got 82% on it as well. Now I can finally brag to all my friends who haven't beaten it yet.

However that game is basically impossible to completely beat. I cant beat Jordan or Six yet and there is no way I can get 5 stars on every expert song. Has anyone achieved that.........yet?

Good stuff. I never really try Six so I am not really sure if I could beat it or not. It takes me around 20 minutes to warm up before I can beat a song like Free Bird. And once I have beaten a song like that I don't feel like playing any more. As for 5 stars on Expert...................GET OUT OF TOWN! How can you possible get 5 stars on all those songs.

On a side note i found the time to upload my first five* on the Flood
that leaves Cowboys and thats it

on most of my scores, I had better on but my file got corrupted, so I just wanted to beat them all, when my file was corrupted I had like 21 FC's or something like that. my total score as 18mil or something like that, I was ranked within 300th on score hero but then got banned for god knows what.
