Another alt of "Duck Division" this has got out of hand this is against the rules, I will Pm Tom Fulp this is not acceptable at all. Spam authors have a nasty habit of picking on users I have seen it with That ScaryMovieguy, picking on a user called TopDog2007 I think his name is. Spam authors to tend to have take that long essay before the flash, that's a good way to spot a spam author sometimes.

However in the obituaries I just saw this http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/obituar ies.php so not all bad news. Yes Idiot-finder that guy been at it again hopefully next time it will get flagged its makes me sick to see it passing.

Well... A guy named after one of my favorite programs (the Tor sister program Privoxy) attacking me? I feel honored. Well, almost. Thanks for noticing that! But yeah, it's Blammed now. I actually would have liked to see it. He had another one that apparently was filled with Nazi stuff... But that's in the Obituaries too. Dang, I'd like to know which spammer this one is.

Welcome to the Barracks! I'm the Barracks Recruitment Officer, Supreme Commander Slash Firestorm. It's my job to examine new prospective recruits and see if they've got what it takes to join the EGB.

Let me explain how the recruitment process works.

Currently you are in "Standby Status" while your case is considered. During this process, me and the other Barracks members will take a look at your record---posting quality, review history/quality, flash record, etc---and see if there are any problems.

Don't worry, we're not too strict about these things; we just want to make sure that you have a decent posting record (not too many one-liners and no flaming/spamming), don't make abusive reviews or rulebreaking flash, etc..

After a period of discussion amongst the Barracks members, I (or my superiors) will make the final call. Assuming that no objections are raised, this Standby Status should only last approximately 24 hours. I will PM you with the final verdict.

Barracks members can go to the appropriate thread for discussion and voting. Discussion period is still open for byteslinger, as well, so be sure to post there if you haven't already. Remember that you have to be logged in to view/post/vote on the discussion threads. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

I got to be really careful with the reviews, I flagged darkwizard's helpful review regarding B Tributes by mistake, I meant to vote helpful.

I hate when I do that. It doesn't happen very frequently because I don't use the helpful/unhelpful buttons very often. Anyway it's more annoying when you're trying to flag something as abusive and you click in other button, because you're losing the chance to get more whistle points >.< Especially if you accidentally mark it as helpful.

All TheDuckDivision flashes have been deleted including Turd Of The Week http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/obituar ies.php. Good job too I was getting really sick of that shit passing through. The spam was getting out of hand.

SlashFirestorm I was reading your post on your page hope you don't leave you do such a good job here it would be a great loss to the club, but then its your decision what you do. I hope I have been doing my role okay. Oh well hopefully the flash well be dealt with.

Good. Damn, it took Wade a while to deal with their flooding... But they're not stopped yet. The Flashes get deleted, and almost immediately they start submitting it again. It almost takes account deletions for Wade to slow any of the flooders down around here, and nothing seems to stop them...

Yes I noticed that cant Wade Fulp ban there IP address or something? although I just logged my stats and I have got four blams so not such a bad deal. Do you think the above game is stolen? I left a comment asking if it was his game? and he deleted my comment. If he has nothing to hide why would he delete it?. So far nothing from Tom Fulp I will try again.

It's been almost three months since I last posted here. I can't believe I haven't posted in such a long time. Well, since I came back from my school trip, I wasn't very motivated to come back to Newgrounds. Recently I got motivated again, and started some catch-ups in the Wi/Ht thread. And there's still a lot to do.

I could do a catch-up here, but it's been so long since I last posted here that it would take forever. Could anyone give me something like a sum-up of what happened since October? I mean... who joined, who left, what happened in the Portal... I might be asking a lot, but could anyone do me this favour? =)

Also, during that time that I was absent, I leveled up, both in my exp. level and my B/P rank! Now I'm a level 24 Captain! Even though my B/P pace has been quite bad the previous weeks. Heh, I'm coming back. Slowly, but still.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I hope I post here more often.

Oh, and we're close to page 1000!

I can say it has been somewhat quite since you last posted. But we have lost 2 members sonofkirk and corky52, they left because of various resons that i am unsure of. otherwise it has been quite here and the normal conversation has been goin good. The portal has gotted very slow for awhile there and has just picked up and the user cereal was deleted from existence, the occasional stolen flash. Not to much.

Hey, good to know that all that shit from the Duck Division was deleted. If people continue submitting all those [DD] flashes, I'm pretty sure their accounts will be deleted. Wade (or whoever deletes all that spam) is doing a great job!

Also, hi Sir-Nuts! Yeah somethings happened, I'm a member here (I think you already knew that) and I will be taking care of the rosters, at least for some months. By the way, here's the last update ;) Two people left, and two want to join (anyway you already noticed this). And, I think that sums everything up. There has been a lot of spam recently in the portal, but luckily it got deleted :D

Hello Sir-Nuts lovely to see you posting on here again well as you can see, I leveled up last month to level 27, and got this cool Nunchunks. They are very good but I'm eager to get to level 28 which I will sometime next month around 8th January so not long. Cereal mass deletion was cool I got like 50 blams because of it, so that's a big plus, I'm also now Sergent as you can see. On the whole lots of spam artists like (DuckDvison) got deleted but now are back again. Anyway do you like your level 24 Bronze Gaunlet?. And welcome to the barracks Major byteslinger.

I hope all of the rest are just as happy to learn this thread is not far from the 1,000th page, while it is no reason to spam or make useless posts, it is exciting to know we are about to cross that threshold. Although I'd prefer if users didn't make too many " happy 1,000th page" because it is always possible posts could be removed and then it would just look stupid.

Yeah. it's pretty damn exciting, howver I do agree that celebrations as such should be kept to a minimum, or at the least accompanied by a worthwhile post.

Cant believe its almost 1000 pages what a huge amount in three years shame, EagleRock not on at the moment. Yeah, I agree. It's OK to say something like that at the end of a post for example, but not just posting to say it.

Thanks for that. I still think that it doesn't look as good as the Chainsaw. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, just not as good as 39.

I can't wait to get some of the more badass levels over the next few months :P

I think that cleaver is one of the coolest ones myself, I think the levels are all more or less cool after 20. The ones I don't like are 15,18,19 and 20 apart from them I'm not too fussed. Usually to me the best level is always the next, which then as soon as you have it loses it's desirability. Maybe that just counts for the lower averagely cool levels.

Yeah I never liked level 40. The chainsaw is much stronger than it. Anyway after level 41 all weapons are great. My level isn't that bad, but when I level up my weapon will be horrible. A baseball bat? I hate it >.<a nd levels 18 and 19 are bad too IMO.

That's what I get for missing so many deposits... I could be level 22 right now >.<

I was lucky and I got to miss the bulk of the crappy levels and started with a decent level. I missed a months worh of deposits this year so I'm about a levele behind what I could have been.

Me too, started with level 28, I was still lucky enough to progress till now. Level 35 isn't far away now.

1000th Page!!!!! Congratulations EGB! 1000 pages of serving Newgrounds. Job well done. Its crazy to think back 146 pages and getting to be the first recruit of the current recruiting process. We've all come along way. If these pages has shown us anything, its that we can survive no matter what and that the portal does need us.

Unfortunately I must put myself on the inactive list. If this past semester has shown me anything, it's that this following year I will be diving farther into the rabbit hole of my future. I've had time to think, and being on my first true break in a long while has shown me I no longer have the energy to continue to serve the portal in full capacity as I once did. I will drop in every now and then and might contribute to the conversation and judge new recruits, but I can no longer keep myself on the active list knowing I can't commit to the Elite Guard Barracks like I once have. I don't regret anytime I've spent here in the EGB, but I just don't have the time or energy.

It does sadden me to be inactive, but I am glad that this group will still be here to protect newgrounds. I might be active later next year, who knows? Drop me a pm anytime.
