Haha yeah I hear many people are angry over that and hate Luis Suarez now. I think it was a fairly clever move and I most likely would have done the same. Ghana gained the ultimate opportunity afterwards to win the game, but they failed to score the penalty so I think they only got themselves to blame for their elimination. However, I don't like how they should parade Suarez around either, because it is sort of cheating and shouldn't be rewarded/encouraged in any way.
Exactly - FIFA needs to make rules to deal with this eventuality. In the days when one of the most respected umpires can cost a young pitcher a perfect game in baseball, a good angle to view the ball still means that he's the only man in the stadium that didn't see the goal (We wouldn't have gone further than that round, but it's the principle!) and yet a tennis player can challenge a line call and have a decision in seconds.
Yes it might have been more fair if Ghana was simply awarded the victory. Or maybe Suarez should've been banned for all the remaining matches this WC. I think measures like that would discourage players a lot more to cheat themselves into victory. Although perhaps not in Suarez case as they would've been eliminated anyway, but if you take Henry's case he might have thought twice about it...
On the bright side though, Uruguay has even less of a chance to make it to the finals now that they are missing one of their star players.
It makes little difference.
Maybe it did, considering it was fairly close yesterday with 3-2 on the scoreboard :p
Would that have made a difference? I don't know, that guy is almost 36 by now (?), is way past his peak and was never such a great player to begin with if you ask me. He could take wonderful free kicks, but that's about it for him.
He'd have still worked harder than most of the players on the pitch. That's the thing about him - his work rate.
He's a bit like Kuyt then I suppose, not such a fantastic players but a very hard worker which generally starts to pay off at the end of matches. I guess Beckham can also give a morale boost.
Are they arrogant pricks? I never hear that many bad things about them. I know van Persie liked Wenger very much because he gave him the chance to grow and become such a great player.
Ferguson kicked a boot in the dressing room and hit Beckham in the face with it. Wenger is a bigger whiner about referees than Jose. They'd booth be beaten into a cocked hat by Brian CLough - the greatest manager that England never had.
I see. Well what Ferguson did can happen I suppose, if a coach is really pissed (although he should keep calm). But whining to referees is a bit sad.
Never heard of Brian Clough by the way.

Or more horny ;)
They shouldn't get horny over a penicorn, though.
Nah that'd be just as wrong as being a furry.
And you wouldn't want a horny dragon with a sword for a dick humping you.
A sword up your ass is nasty.
Yes, and very painful probably.
Yep. I'm not planning on 'pulling a Bahamut', so I hope someone else will win next time. Problem is, too many people here I would want to vote for :(
I've already got my mind set for the next person to vote for Most Underrated.
I'll still have to see. Maybe it'd be clever to vote for the same most of us vote for, but on the other hand I don't want to be accused of helping with mass voting. So I'll just wait until the end of the year and see then.
I don't know, he seems like a good improviser to me and most of his videos always come off as spontaneous efforts (although they are probably not).
If you watch the videos, you can tell he's going through it for the first time but he does get help from his fans so he doesn't get stuck for days like I would have been.
Yes he often says that he got comments of people who explained this and this. I'm quite amazed he still reads so many of his comments, because he sometimes gets like hundreds of them for a single video (and then there might still be a ton of emails). Must be very time consuming to plough through all them.
I just think they shouldn't have made spells like ... items. Magic became hardly useful in the game as using the stronger spells would only weaken your character.
That was my biggest gripe with the junction system as well as magic. No MP so it was item-like which was rather annoying, especially when you needed to get the rarer magic spells.
Yeah, and I thought the magic spells were watered down anyway. Even the stronger spells often didn't do as much as damage as GF's or regular attacks, even with a maxed out magic stat.
Spoony was also right about drawing magic. It slows down battles sooooo much. I know the card and item refining was a much easier method, but I found that I generally still went for using the Draw command to obtain magic spells. The system might have worked better if you could obtain like 30 spells in one draw instead of 9 max.
Rikku indeed seems to be there just for fan service. Like when she got out of that wetsuit =/
The game was made in Japan so it's no surprise to me. That's actually considered as normal over there. :P Something tells me Spoony wouldn't last a day in Japan.
Yeah I guess so *thinking of Dead or Alive... =/*
And hahaha Spoony in Japan would make some hilarious reviews and vlogs I think XD

Pity, still I reckon everything happens for a reason, and things will work out for the best for you man.
I suppose I'll just take one step at a time.
If you want my advice: Just take it easy and you'll find someone eventually.
I only got my first girlfriend when I was 19 and we're still happily together after two years.

But isn't it all about getting drunk and singing 'schlagers'? :p It sounds great to me.
Getting drunk: Ok.
Singing schlager: Not so.
I'd rather enjoy some good music while drinking. :P
Haha oh well. It seems like a great party to celebrate with some friend though.
Strange. You would think that after 20 years the differences would've almost vanished, since Germany put so much effort in making both sides equal.
Well, have a look at Belgium for example. This country has even bigger problems within their borders.
Also I think it's not so much that not enough effort is put into making both sides equal but there still seems to be a "wall" inside the heads of some (mostly older) people.
I see. I know older people here still dislike Germans too for what they did in WW2, but I guess that will vanish as their generation fades
