Science and religion can coexist, because they are two completely different things. Science is an explanation for events, and a prediction of future events based on past knowledge. Religion is a set of beliefs. There's no overlap-- the two can coexist peacefully if you would all just learn to accept those with a different viewpoint from yourself. If it brings you no harm, then it should not be harmed itself.
