Great story
I quite enjoyed listening to the story. You did a great job keeping my attention. Loved turning every page.
The art style was fantastic as well. It reminds me of old books I used to read when I was a kid. Nacho Rodriguez and Cecilia Deshayes did a lovely job.
I didn't expect the ending. I almost feel sorry for the guy. Haha. Definitely a favorite.

Beautifully drawn, VERY well detailed, great, but comical, storyline, amazing sound quality, and just an overall grand display!
Plus the read-along voices and sounds were positively amazing! I can't believe you made something like this and put it on Newgrounds, this needs to be bound and sold!
The main problem I found was that the text was a little to small to read at some points, but other than that, it was Awesome.
But truly, great job!

I am pretty much awestruck. AMAZING NARRATION, AMAZING ARTWORK, FREAKING AMAZING USE OF ACTIONSCRIPT, and a nice story to go along with all that. XD
If you had animated that, I would've died right here from the awesomeness. So don't worry about me "punishing" you for "lack of animation." It's good enough already.
There's a secret there; Andy Dennis, Nacho + Ceci, and DrNeroCF. They all delivered above and beyond in a short time-scale, and I'm so proud of them all. The story... aww shucks, thank you!
Maybe one day when we get megabucks we'll rewrite it, remake it and ANIMATE it, and by then hopefully you'll have a cure against death by awesome.

Thia is great! NG really needs a lot more submissions like this and artists/writers like you. How you got past the 10MB I don't know.. But you certainly have earned every bit of loading time and byte presented. Please tell me you have more to come. Positively brilliant.
I have more to come. I hope the talks with prospective artists go much more smoothly now I have this under my belt.
To get past the 10MBs, you have to make a request to Wade, but he's tricky to convince. Luckily ReNaeNae slipped on her silk garters and charmed him into giving an upgrade. A lot of people do it, but you have to be sure you can deliver. This is what I was happy to release, but I'll be sure to improve it now that it's getting a good reception.
