where do you get your influence!?
really great work, 1st of its kind here on newgrounds i'd say.
things that bothered me were:
as already mentioned, the text has to be bigger so it becomes readible.
the other thing is that the pun of the story is taken too soon by the picture and reading the text by myself - instead you should of heard the insulted reaction of the lady, the her going to her car and the motorhowling BEFORE you turn the page - so that when you actually SEE the last page, you only hear him say the pun of the story; which is the "there is no such thing as a perfect match."
those 2 things would have made it REALLY perfect.
but so people don't think that i'm only bitchin', i'll point out what i personally liked:
the generall idea of the story is totally great, turning it into a flash book makes it even better
not that the text was only read, but that there also were the soundeffects of the story to be heard (such as her biting into the fruit and such)
i might already seen this kind of style somewhere, but the drawings are very nicely done
the little gags that go with the story just perfectly (i favor the 2 jokes about kong)
seeing all this coming together into 1 creation is really something, just totally great.
but i think this could also be a very good childrens book, not just on for adults
if the the idea of the story AND the drawings that go with are totally done by you, you'd be a really great childrens book author coming to be
also, this work has more than enough potenial to go beyond the bounds of flash
(just like tom fulps "alien homonoid" got released on ps2), this flash could be turned into a REAL book which you find in a bookstore
if it comes out as a book, i'd be sure to buy it, that's for sure.
i'll also make sure to vote a 5/5 for this fav this flash as well as you as its author, so i don't miss any of your future stuff - and that would be a shame now wouldn't it? ^^
