Hi guys, I'm not joining but I wanted to ask a question which may or may not lead me to joining at some later stage.
I was wondering if any of you have the Wii version of CoD:WaW, and if it's comparable to the other versions. It's quite often the case where the Wii version doesn't stand up to its bigger console brethren, even when it is the same game, so I'm wondering if it is still worth a purchase on Wii and if it is the same game.

I'll join the 360 division. Also, I get really bored playing with myself (No pun intended.) so I'd like it if you guises played with me.

It's still worth it. I literally had the shakes earlier when I hadn't played it, and that never happens to me. ever. Online play is organically fun, but campaign mode can be ridiculously hard on hard or veteran modes.

Gah, only made it to level 39 at the weekend :( I'm moving house all this week so I don't know when I'll be playing again. Also, that MakMan is a fucking cock. We were playing capture the flag and there was about 40 seconds left and I had the flag. I'm running like a nutter to get back to the base and he goes and shouts out something like "Hurry up you fucking Brit". Lets just say I won't be playing with that little dickhead again. Oh and I got a 26 kill streak...in a tank.

it's just great, and they use a bouncing betty to trap a dead body, until you realise that the guy is still alive and that he cannot move, cause otherwise the mine would just blow up.

you know what i really don't use betty's unless i'm sniping i usually put on bomb squad which has saved my life more than enough. always use sniping power unless i'm playing caputre the flag then i'm camo!, perk 3 is and will be for a long time EXTREME CONDITIONING which is awesome and for my tank perk i use coaxial machine gun to much fun when they think there safe a run out in front of me intill i blow there fucking head off and smoosh there body into the ground and i just got the magnum so i'm doing fine and the gun i have been using mos is the Kar98 and the type 100

Tanks are awesome. Right up until the point when you get blown up :P I reckon that Ordinance Training is the most useful vehicle perk overall. Simply because you can get rounds off faster and have a better chance of owning another tank.

The Russian Tommy gun thing is about level 57 I think and flamethrower is 65. I'm so not prestiging, ever.

I forgot to metion that I've done the marksman challenges for the M1 Garand and I'd just like to say that it's bloody horrible. The biggest problem is the recoil. You fire 3-4 rounds and you end up aiming straight over peoples heads.

With the SVT and Gehwer you can use up a whole mag and still pretty much be aiming straight at someone without having to adjust. There's also no aperture sight which is a pain and the only decent attachment for it is the bayonet. And if you miss someone with it you're going to get raped. It really doesn't have any good features. The Gehwer and SVT will forever shit on it from a great height.

yes... juggernaut and martyrdom...
juggernaut is just like answering "yes" when someone ask's you if you suck at call of duty.
and martyrdom... when you need this to kill people... then your really bad at the game.
But I can understand that you may want to use it on Headquarter or War

It's not a bit more... ITS A LOT MORE !!!
and everytime I use a shotgun I use extreme conditionning. You can get across the map two times faster than if you were using another perk.
It's one of the best, and I'm almost always using it, except for my sniper rifle and machine gun classes.

I really love the snipers, they are awesome.
Also the sub machine guns are always my favorite weapons, especially the Thompson.
But as I said before, I really fell in love with the Double-barrelled shotgun, using it with sleight of hand is probably the best thing you can do.
Other than this, I'm starting to like the machine guns and assault rifles a little more, though I'm still angry that most of the rifles are fucking "single shot" weapons.

Oh and I hate the M1A1 alot

I think Infinity War and Treyarch makin games seperately is a great idea. It keeps em competitive, so neither side gets lazy.
IW make great online system for CoD4
Treyarch adapt it into a WW2 setting, with a better story than 4
etc.
Result: games get better and better
