Someone should make a MOTD for the server with a red engineer in a NG tank saying "Spy Sappin' my Tank!" with a blue spy running by with a sapper.

I agree, we need a banner. our steam group has a free chat that we can use, as well guys.

Every time team fortress 2 updates a class with unlockables, Team fortress 2 goes on sale. During the next update, we need to buy a copy of the game.

Once we have it, we can host an art contest and give the copy away as a prize for making the best ng-tf2 banner for our MOTD.

Or we can ask somone in the sig making crew to do it free....

Admins of the steam group, I suggest making an event for the group like a 'Get on chat' day, where we try to come up with ideas for the server.

There is a vast amount of server side pluginsthat you can add to the server, like no gravity, crits, and alot of others.

I'm pretty sure the server's already got it. SMS was screwing around with slapping people, burning people and low gravity yesterday. I dunno if they've enable rtv and other commands like that though.

Rig had RTD going..but then he took it down. I'm not sure if RTV is still enabled though. Also just my opinion, sure insanely over-modded servers are fun, but you do get tired of them and often just want to play a straight game of TF2. I say keep the mods to a minimum, or hold events and be all "Super Happy Fun Time in the NGTF2 Server!" and enable that game mode where you're all scouts running around with sniper rifles and what have you.

I was wondering if anyone who was savvy in photoshop or whatever program is used, and wouldnt mind making me a sig for forum uses. TF2 style of course, with Medic as the main character. My forum name is "Duki". Thank you so much!

Not sure what RTV is, but the Scouts with Sniper rifles is probably just the randomization type of mod. You know, Heavys with dead ringers, Engineers with rocket launchers, etc...Also, ever see that Prop Hunt mod? That'll be fun to have. Also, if you guys need anything made, I can make TF2 pictures in Garry's Mod, so just PM me if you want me to make something and post it in here.

RTV is rock the vote, if enough people want it, they can take a new vote on what map you're playing. RTD is Roll the Dice, where random 'powerups' are given to someone who rolls.

And the Scout with Sniper rifles isn't a randomisation mod, it's this crazy gamemode that we played once. Everyone is forced Scout, and they all have Sniper Rifles that shoot lasers beams, and instagib in one hit. Also, team attack is on... Hectic fun, to say the least. And low gravity is a must as well.

I'd like to join, I'm updating TF2 as we speak and it's at 39%, I also have Counter Strike: Source downloading, but I'll still probably have to update that too. I'd like my first match to be with some fellow NGers.

I agree with SpeedMetal. Mod-happy servers are tiresome...I just want basic sourcemod stuff, plus faster spawn times.
So far, I've added a fast (not instant) respawn mod and a melee mode mod. Updated Sourcemod to 1.3. Find any cool plugins? Put them here!

I wanna do "Melee Mondays" or something, lol.

I swear to god, if a soldier update comes out tomorrow and I'm at school I will bust a nut.

Why would a soldier have a molotov? Molotov's are home-made weapons, and a soldier would have much better.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have any type of grenade-like object. The team removed grenades for a reason, and the game is much better for it.

Indeed...also, Rig, l can't thank you enough for putting melee only rounds in the server...l only know 2 or 3 serious servers that have MO when a round ends...it's so awesome!

Melee only is credit to servers.

I added a round start/end mod. Look for fun things to happen during setup and bonus rounds!

I hate fast respawns, especially on Attack/Defend maps where the endless flow of defenders really unbalances the game and makes killing a player feel far less satisfying (since ten seconds later they'll already be off on their way again).

Hat plugin would be nice to have.
