This is a thread where you can talk about any of your iPod experiences, programs, tweaks, hacks, software or music/video downloading sites. Here are the rules:
1. NO illegal programs or hacks.
2. No unverified or harmful hacks
3. No taking credit for other people's work.
Well that's about it, and don't forget to just have fun.

Lucky. I might get a nano because minis arent in production anymore and sometimes my ipod is fully charged for hours and then i play one song and it shuts off. I have a warrenty so they have to give me some compensation.

Heh, heh. I'm even luckier. I got the 60 Gigabyte white one with my full name engraved on the back (the only downside is that the back is shiny reflective mirror-like metal and you can see fingerprints really clearly, but thats what the white pouch is for.

With the warranty, you can send it back and get your iPod Mini replaced.

And I suspect your problem may be something to do with the rumour I've heard (from friends) that charging when the battery isn't fully drained has a negative impact on battery life, although I can't think of any reason to suspect that, it may be true or not, I always wait till the battery life is drained just in case.

Interesting club... I do not wish to join yet but I do have a question. I own an ipod shuffle and I'm having some problems with it. When I turn it on the green light stays lit and nothing plays no matter what I do. I have itunes 6 and all of the songs and volume were checked. Any tips?

Ok I need help now. I got a 30 GB video iPod last night and everything is working great except for converting videos. I searched the web for an hour last night and still couldn't find a good free converter other than VIdeora which I can't get to run. By the way, my computer is a Windows ME which iTunes won't run on and is pretty crappy. If anyone has any suggestions on my converting problem please help.

Or maybe noone knows. Check out the apple iPod help site here if you haven't already and if you have then I guess you're screwed here because I don't know and apparently neither does anyone else,

If you got a warrenty you can send it back and they will fix the problem.

What system are you running and are you converting the videos? if Not then check out VIdeora iPod Converter it woprks great, and if you're running below an XP then you should probably buy Anapod for25.00$, it's at a reasonable price and it detects your iPod and puts it in the Windows fly-out menu. I hope this helps and good luck with your iPod troubles.

Meh, I might jump in here once or twice: don't be suprised.

I had an iPod mini, until it was sadly crushed at the bottom of forty pounds of book in my backpack.

I'm not sure if my parents used the warranty or not, however, as a "replacement", I recieved an iPod Nano which only holds half the songs - but it's all I need.

The coloring is... spectacular. I love it.

Anyways, if something pops up that I'm interested in, don't be suprised if you see me. Other than that, I'll rarely be here, so adios!
