The effect of overcharging your iPod is minimal. Not noticeable unless you leave it in for a week every time you charge.

And I lost the USB cap that has the flat surface and then the other cap broke. All that was left was the inside.. and then that just doesnt fit in the case.. So now, I am using a wireless internet USB cab thats pretty big.. So.. anyone know if you can get another cap?

Thankss

Wait, so you're saying the little cap that protects the USB of the shuffle broke?

I would email Apple, if you're under warranty they'll prolly just mail you a new one or something.

"Your iPod comes with single incident telephone support for the first 90 days and a one-year limited warranty. For more information, visit Apple support or call 800-823-2775."

Anyway, guys, I was thinking of getting in early and buying my sisters either one or two iPod shuffles. If it were two it'd be two 512MB ones, otherwise it'd just be one 1GB one. I have a Samsung Yepp YP-T3 in my room that's 256MB or 512MB, so I could use that, but it also runs on a AAA battery.

Do you think I should just get one iPod Shuffle and give it to one of my sisters, and give the other my Samsung Yepp, or get two Shuffles?

I'd much rather go one Shuffle and the Yepp to save some money, but either way.

Yeah, I could use the savings. :|

But yeah, I've been getting better. I'm still having the throat issues, but after I had the one day on Thursday where I could barely breathe or move, it only went uphill from there.

Thanks for caring. :D

No problem man. I plug my iPod in at night and let it charge, but I don't use the backlight much. Is that going to be potentially harmful to its battery life?

If at all, i'd say minimally. I listen to mine at least 2 hours every weekday and I can go sometimes as long as three days without charging, so I think you'll be fine if you don't use the backlight that often.

I'll join. I have a white iPod mini and am having problems with it. Mainly it says no battery left when it has half a bar left.

Kill the battery totally. Then plug it in to your charger and monitor the progress.Or alternatively, send it to Apple for a free repair I don't have a problem with you joining as long as you don't come up with another retarded idea like "the official photoshop thread" ever again.

Sweet, I just got a black leather case for my video iPod. I dont have to worry about any new scratches, yay! It's a wise investment for $30, as it comes with a belt clip and you can also strap it onto your arm for jogging or excercising and such.

The Nanos are pretty good. Don't EVER put in your back pocket.

Also, did you get that videora problem fixed? Mine works fine, except for some reason it wont transcode my Red vs Blue episodes, on other videos it works fine.

Awww.
1593 songs, 5:09:34:37 total time, 8.90 GB

How come you have 9 more hours of music (in 400 songs) and 1 less GB? :(

Not to me, but to a friend... at school lol. He was in a hurry to get to the next class( he was listening to his Nano in class) and stuck it in his back pocket. He gets to the next class, and forgets about. He sits down, a small snap was heard. No more Nano for him :-(

No sir I did not. Mine won't transcode any videos. It puts them at like 10 KB when its done. The videos won't play at all when it's done :-/

My brother has one of those too.

I have a 6 gig mini though =/ I like it and all but there is much more things with the video. It is a no brainer though to do this:

Awhile back when minis were still being made the 6 gig was $250, and Is what I got for my birthday awhile back (before video iPods) but the video iPod now is $300. So for $50 more you could get 24 more gigs and video capabilities and then some.

I may get one later though, I dont know. I can use my psp for the features I dont have...
