hopefully with some sort of warrenty :(
Hmm, I just got it without a warranty (besides the standard/free 6 month one in the beginning). I didn't get one because I heard it breaks fast, so I'll be expecting to have to send it in soon :(.
Also, how long have you had yours, and what kind of iPod is it?

Nice :), I got a 30GB video a few weeks ago.
I really like it, although the battery has never ran out on me it went red within a day of not charging it, but I had been listening to it for hours since I was on a trip to Florida =P.
My iPod mini seemed to have kept its battery charge high all of the time, I think I didn't charge it for a few days (was on a trip to California) and listened to it a lot but it still was alive :D.
I don't have any videos on it yet, and I don't really care to. I don't need videos on it for vacation since I can just bring my laptop heh. And photos just seem pretty pointless to me =/.
Although I will probably be putting a few small videos on it later.
The thing I hate about updating my iPod is that I have all of my songs on my old laptop which is pretty old (I think I got it around 2000 give or take a year) so updating takes forever =/. I was thinking about getting all of the songs onto my newer laptop but it seems that would take awhile and would take up space on my new laptop rather than just using space on my old one.
I am pretty sure I am going to put all of my songs and stuff on my new laptop, I found a little tutorial on it, hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle...

I'm fickle with headphones and my senheisers piss me off because anyone within a 20 foot radius can hear what you're listening to. I'm thinking about splurging on these I know they are not perfect for isolation but anything is better than what I've got now

So you take it to school with you? And you have no worries of it being stolen?

There's a big difference between taking valulables around with you and posing a risk. It's easy not to get your ipod stolen.
1) Always in the pocket. I have thin trousers, I can use the volume, skip, etc from there. I don't need to take it out and flaunt it.
2) Never not in the pocket. I never put it down say on a table, etc.
3) Different headphones. I have some headphones that I got from curry's for £7, everyone has a pair for all their different MP3 players and walkmans and discmans etc. People don't mug you with them, you might just have a discman.
4) Keep the volume low. People don't notice it if they cant hear it. Simple as that.
5) Thread the headphones under your clothes. Then the only bit they can see on you that hints towards an iPod or MP3 player is the headphones in your ears.

Seems like the battery deteriorated so you will have to replace the ipod OR if your willing to take the risk replace the battery wtiha new one
Good luck opening it though

On my iPod, in the videos section, there's no category for TV Shows. It's just.. not there. I've had my iPod for a while and it's never been there. I tried restoring it to factory default settings and reformatting it and everything, but it's not showing up. How can I make it show up?

I hate the new look of the iPod nano. It's "round" like the old mini, and they moved the hold switch. I like the new colors, but I really hate the look and the feel of it in your hand.
Also, why is the 8 GB one have only one color? And why is it priced the same as a 30 GB 5G?

Lets see... I guess black is the new code color for top-end consumer produts and the with the nano you are primarily paing for size, style and, superior battery life to the regular ipod.
