I think I was a few days away from level 16 when the redesign happened. I felt so jipped because I was so close. It took me a year or so to get out of level 14.

But what really got me was that I would have been level 21 had I deposited every day (level 40 on this system)...

I WAS a level 10 user before the redesign happened, I was the first '07 user to reach level 10. I can't find the link but the same day I became the first '07 user with level 10 I made a thread about my accomplish ment and that just happened to be my 1000th post.

Yeah, but didn't you stop Newgrounding for ages? I've been on NG pretty much constantly since I joined, except for 3 weeks after my 10k post, most of my missed deposits have just been here and there as a result of extreme apathy.

Sometimes only here and there.

This past month, I've mised at least two weeks worth.

So on Monday night I learned an important lesson. If at a BBQ with a bunch of drunken marines, do not play the song "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day. What you get is a bunch of extremely drunk people swaying out of time with the music (and each other) while singing along loudly. Only problem: The only words anybody knew was the chorus.

Note, if you have ever seen the music video, you'd know the song is about marines, hence why we like it.

For me and my buddies, it was a case of finding the Reel Big Fish tunes on my walkman and walking down the street after hours with my mates, singing drunkenly, whihc was great fun and it helped us to sober up.
